Went into Speedway tonight to pick up something to drink and there sat this car with TWO CHILDREN under the age of 5 sitting in their car seats while the mother (not that she deserves to be called such) is inside. So I asked her if she was the idiot with her kids sitting in the car alone and she says "Oh My God, I am right here inside the door"

You friggin idiot! Not only is it STUPID it is also against the law! You should be punched in the face for being so irresponsible! I hope that in the future you make better decisions for the sake of those children because they do not deserve that!

The police were called and given a full description of her and the vehicle. I have a child at home and it was a matter of not being backed over.

What is the problem if she locked the doors?
Are you serious? You don't know what the problem is?

I don't care what the degree outside is! It is ILLEGAl to leave children alone in a vehicle. It is ILLEGAL to leave a child attended by a child under the age of 12.

It's funny that someone gave us a name, and in reference to facebook sure enough, that would be the dumbass leaving her children in a car, which leads me to believe that this is normal activity for her. And by the way THE HEAT WAS NOT ON, considering the CAR WAS NOT RUNNING.

If you can't take your children inside a place where you are going and you do not have another ADULT with you, don't even go in. Don't leave your children sitting alone.

Dear girl you are stupid beyond all things I can consider stupid at this point and you need a reality check.

You know, that's one of the problem with society these days. I myself, am a product from the 80's and came from a time where leaving your child to go into a gas station (not to mention a heavily lite and extremly busy gas station) was not an issue. Now you can't trust people enough to not only steal your children, but then have the nerve to call the cops on you. I myself do not think the mother did anything wrong. I am willing to bet that you all would be the same people posting because the children were "too loud" or "out too late" if she had brought them into the store. Do the world a favor and apply yourself to something that may have an effect on the world. There are many other things you can focus on besides being a keyboard crusader. In a nutshell; get a life.

Having your child out late is not always just because you are a crappy parent, I do realize that some people work late and may have just picked them up from a sitter or daycare.

You are absolutely right that I had the nerve to call the police on her. I don't care what you are a product of, you don't leave kids in a vehicle alone. Years ago it wouldn't matter for someone to think twice about it. But anymore people will take your children. People cannot be trusted. You have dads smacking their child's head on something and putting it to sleep, you have a babysitter shaking and beating a child, you have a mother getting beat by a father, and he's laying his hands on the children, but yet it's okay for an irresponsible girl to leave her kids in the car? And I didn't steal her children. I should have stood behind her car and made her deal with the police, but having a child at home I would like to have stayed alive and not ran over. It shows her to be very immature and irresponsible.

I will be the one that has the nerve every time to call when I see such going on. I wouldn't expect anything less for someone to do so to me, except I don't leave my child unattended. If I have to go in, she goes too. If I have to go places she can't, she stays with her father if he is home from work, or with a family member. It's called being a responsible parent and doing what is right.

I did in fact intentionally get on here and post about the situation because I think that it should be known. Long and behold someone posted a name and it is the girl that did this. Apparently it's a norm in her lifestyle to go leaving her kids in the car. Not too smart if you ask me.

To each their own on opinions, and mine has been bluntly stated and I will continue to stand my ground on it. I don't know the girl from dog turds on the street, but children deserve better to be left in a car like a hand bag.

You are a sociopath and I bet you are also a hardcore Christian.
Say what you will. You either know her and are taking up for her, or you are guilty of the same doings.
And since when would being a Christian, be such a bad thing in the world we live in? I'm not posting this to be a bible thumping anything, I just happen to believe that if you have children, you should be responsible and do what is right, instead of acting stupid and leaving them sit. There are so many people in this world, this TOWN that cannot have children and would give anything, to give a child the world and everything in it, but cannot; yet there are those ignorant people, this girl for PRIME EXAMPLE that is too selfish to think of her kids, and abuses the privilege of being a parent. It saddens me to think how often she does this.

BTW, thanks for using such big words, I was unaware there were any intelligent people left here.

I agree 100%. These little girls need to grow up, put on their big girl panties, and take care of the children they CHOSE to create. You can't be a teenager your entire life. Upon having children it's time to put that life away and be a LADY worthy of being called Mommy.
