Early this morning, as I was returning home from working nightshift, I was looking at the stars while walking to the front door of my house, when I noticed a dark object with lights, moving in a NNE direction, silouetted in front of a white cloud-bank, which was rolling in from the South.
The object was at a 30 degree angle from the ground, and less than a half mile away, and it appeared to be quite large, but I could not discern the actual shape of it, until someone pointed a spotlight at it from the ground, almost directly below, and the object then made an impossibly tight turn and headed back towards the SW, and into the oncoming clouds.
As it turned 180 degrees to it's left, much like a boomerang, I had a clear view of the entire underside of the object, which was triangular, with the points flat across.
Close to the ends, there were two very bright white lights, one on either side, and near the middle there was a ring of about 10-15 lesser white lights in a circle. There was no sound from the object, despite the fact that it could only have been approximately 1000 feet from me and at an altitude of no more than 800 feet.
I would like to know if anyone else saw this object, and more importantly, who shined the spotlight at it?

Hi. Did you also see a triangular object or were they different?
Are you a police officer?... And if so, do you make reports when you see these things?
When I was in the Air Force, if we saw anything like that, we didn't report it because if we did, we would get a psych eval, to determine if we were crazy, which always turned out bad for the person being evaluated, and if we got to stay in, we would never gain any more rank than where we were, at the time of the report.
Needless to say, nothing was ever reported...

i seen a triangular object years ago going in a n/e direction. traveling slow with no noise, it had two lights on each side of the wings. no navigation lights at all. i was also a witness to the ufo over st. louis incident of 2000. it was probably a test vehicle from the base, but who knows for sure.

I was working in Fairmont, Minnesota 15 miles north of the Iowa border, a couple of years ago, and was at the local bar, one night when I saw several UFOs. It was a clear, full-moon night
I had walked outside to smoke, and saw a light approaching low from the West, which wasn"t odd because there is a small runway to the East of town, but this craft seemed to be moving side to side, as it came. I thought that perhaps the pilot might be drunk, and kept watching it.
When it got overhead, I realized that it was round, with a ring of lights on the bottom, and it was zig-zagging. I do not know what it's altitude was, but got the impression that it was at around 5,000 feet.
It suddenly stopped for a moment, made a tight circle, and then moved off to the South-East, gaining speed as it went, until it streaked out of sight.
I went back in and told the people I was with what I had seen, and we went back out to look around.
About 30 people came out to look, and I was telling them what direction the object had come from, when 5 single lights streaked in to about five miles from town and stopped close to each other.
Then two more came in, leaving light-trails behind them, flew up to the other five, and then they all streaked away, weaving in and out of each other, towards the North-West. Everyone was amazed at the display, and it was the topic of discussion for the rest of the evening.
An odd thing that occured as a result of the incident was that all the ATM machines, while still operating normally, would not dispense any money for 2 days, and all the banks had to have someone reprogram them. Even the one in the bar and at the convenience stores would not work.
I saw many "fast walkers while there, as well.

I reported it to the National UFO Reporting website, right after it happened, but apparently, they are a little slow at responding, and posting incidents. There were 1078 reports from Indiana alone, in 2010, and well over 7,000 in California. About a third of the Indiana reports were of triangle-shaped craft, with some crossing over major highways, only 100 feet above the ground.
Supposedly, there is a place, 12 miles to the South-West of Vincennes, called "Lucky Point", where several sightings have occured. It is my understanding that the place got it's name back when the first settlers founded Vincennes. I want to go out there for awhile, Sunday night, if the weather allows.

You know, I have been hesitant to shine anything at objects in the sky, because they might be an airplane that I simply didn't recognize as such, and it's a federal crime to point any type of light at them.
While I was camping in the Rockies, a couple of years ago, I saw an object moving in a ENE direction, which seemed to be only a thousand feet above the elevation I was at, with a spotlight, of sorts, moving it around on the mountains.
I thought it might have been a search helicopter, except that it was close enough that I should have heard the sound of it, but I heard nothing. Also, the light that was moving had no beam; It was only visible where it was hitting the ground.
I grabbed my binoculars, and a pretty powerful hand-held spotlight I have, and while looking through the binoculars, pointed the light at the object and mashed the trigger.
The object moved quickly out of the beam of light, and swung it's light towards me, hitting me full on in the eyes, through the binoculars. It was like being in the dark and then suddenly looking directly into the sun.
I could not see any more than a blur for about 30-40 minutes, and after I could see sufficiently to get into my tent, I went to bed, but for three days afterwards, my eyes felt like they had salt in them. I won't try that again.

Haaahaaa... That would be an identified flying object, I believe...
A friend's wife once got mad at him at their New Years eve party and hit him right between the eyes with a shot glass from about 20 feet away... knocked him clean out, and he didn't know what happened 'til she told him, a couple of days later.

Well, its obvious that they are not trying to hide their activities, whoever or whatever they are, but I'm wondering what their agenda might be, and why they are so much more prevalant these days, than they have been in the past. Perhaps it's because they know that our military aircraft aren't going to shoot them down over any populated areas.
If they did, we'd sure know then, that the UFOs aren't ours.
I am now looking in the skies around here, more often than I was before.

Indiana is rated 8th in the world for UFO sighting, and Lucky Point is rated 1st in the state for UFO sightings, that's pretty impresive,
I heard about Lucky a couple years back while on a paranormal investigation, when I moved to this area, I finally had my chance to check it out, although I had to go several times ( 10-15) it was well worth it, not only for ufology but other phenomena as well.Wanting to venture a bit? Lucky Point is a good place to start.
I've posted a few links below for you to take a look at all from the Indiana area. I believe a video is there also a couple from this area recorded, although not very impressive, does put some wonder in perspective. Most of these are from the Indiana area also.
The 1st is on Lucky Point filmed by a televison crew from Fort wAYNE I believe,
