Parents should be responsible and only have their kids trick or treat in their own neighborhoods or at friends and family. This ridiculous thing of driving in carloads and dumping them off in a strange neighborhood needs to stop. We had at 75 kids last night and not one was from our area.

The Observer: Though i agree with your overall statement, i believe sticking togather is a safer(and easier on gas) way to Trick or Treat.

I once trick or treated on a hay ride that went throughout moores hill and i banked in alot of candy. However this does effect the ammount of candy distributers have to give out. it "Depletes" the supplies.

If you have opinions or other information about what you plan to do for Halloween Please post it on my thread!

This is ridiculous. If you go with your kid you can trick or treat anywhere, just letting them go to the ten houses on your block is mean. They look forward to this all year, let them have it. If you are worried about child predators, they are everywhere even on your block. Most kids get kidnapped by people they know that no one suspects.

Those of you that speak about nt trick or treating is crazy... I work with predators everday of my lfe.. and they all normally go after oes they have watched in their own neigborhood or omeone they know! As long as you use safety rules and stay together and check any when done all should be good.. Be safe and have FUN!

So if you don't like it don't hand out candy to just anyone! I walk with my kids and they are more than safe!

Greed pure greed.
Why does any kid need a 5 gallon bucket of candy?
Parents get off your lazyass and throw a party for you kid and his friends. Kids are safer.

Yes we did the trick or treat thing but not as greedy little sugar suckers. We hit a few homes in the neighborhood and some family members then went home to look at our loot. I didn't say the kids shouldn't trick or treat I said they don't need to be greedy and expect to drag in a ton of candy.
One other thing, city officials didn't have to set trick or treat times for us because our parents knew when enough was enough and which evening to let us go.

Well now Bicknell isn't exactly a big town is it. Probably related to everyone in it aren't ya.
I don't mind Halloweeners, in fact I enjoy them but damn when they hit every neighborhood all across town, go out both nights from before dusk til as late as allowed and cry because 2 nights aren't enough it's out of control. Who said they have to grab up every piece of candy before anyone else can have it. It's not like the fat lil fukkers need it.
If you don't have enough sense to understand what I posted you should really refrain from running your mouth.
