We bought a Mobile Home in a park by the Sacramento river. On 3-2-2013, my husband woke up from a sound sleep, violently shaking. Not knowing what was going on, we took him to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Severly sick, they put him in ICU. After numerous blood tests, and my husband throwing up alot, the doctor told us he had contracted a air born bacteria in his blood. They had to grow a specimine to determine what it was. That took three days.During that time he was asked alot of questions about what we had been doing, and what kinds of things we had been around. Finally we determined, that the most likely source for the bacteria to have come from was the opened sewer to the park three weeks prier. It had never been closed. A bright orange security fence had been placed around the open area. The ground was saturated with the smell of sewer clear up to our trailer. After numerous bags of antibiotics, and sever sickness, my husband returned home.I immdiately contacted the manager of the park. She said she wasn't aware that the sewer was open.I ask her did she not see the orange fence that was put up? She told me no she had not, and why did I not tell her about the problem before my husband got sick? She also wanted to know why I would have our windows open? She then told me the doctors report I showed her stating the open sewer was the most likely cause, was redicules. Tomarrow the environmental health department, and the Tehama County inspector will be here in the morning. I wonder what she will tell them? Or will she evict me.
