Here we have another world class athlete making millions of dollars that is tired of paying moronic liberal taxes.....
Until these moron liberals wake up the exodus from the USA will continue....
.
.

With the announcement that top ranked boxer Manny Pacquiao will seek to hold his upcoming boxing matches away from the bright lights of Las Vegas and off U.S. soil, the Filipino boxer becomes the latest professional athlete to highlight the current non-competitive U.S. income tax rate. As reported by Yahoo! Sports:
[Pacquiao chief advisor] Michael Koncz told Yahoo! Sports that the 39.6 percent tax rate Pacquiao would face if he were to fight again in the U.S. makes a fall bout in Las Vegas "a no go."
.
.
.
Pacquiao’s concerns lie with the federal income tax. As Nevada is one of the nine states that do not have an income tax, Las Vegas has grown to become the home for major bouts because fighters do not have to worry about the state taking a bite out of their winnings or purse. Unfortunately, Nevada’s economic benefit is now overshadowed by the federal income tax rate. According to Yahoo! Sports:

If I remember correctly Roberto Duran, arguably one of the best boxers of all time, was allowed to live tax free in his home country of Panama.

Many athletes, musicians and actors have left their native countries due to high taxation. Bjorn Borg, Bono are but a few on the list. Although I like U2 I think Bono is a hypocrite, he wants taxes raised world wide to fight poverty but left Ireland because of the tax rate. Like so many hypocrites on the Left. John Kerry finds a berth for his new yacht to avoid the tax in his home state.

It'll be nice to see all the welfare like farm subsidies for the rich cut and the bloated defense spending cut. Sure, overall Social Security will be hit but that can be off -set by “means testing”. And Medicare will get hit butt that can be off -set by stopping quacks like michele bachmanns husband from billing for dubious practices.
Then we won't have to worry!

Apple moved part of the company to NV and bragged they saved billions in taxes and are now building in Tx

Apple and Microsoft both invested billions here in Mexico for research and development. They then shift profit here before taxes as they write off the profit as expense saving billions in federal taxes.

Tom Siebel has a bigger home here than in the USA. Sure is funny how his liberal politicians are down here in a 100k sq foot house with every whim catered on

Gates and Jobs also have bigger homes here than in the USA.........When they rent their home for 80k dollars per night do you think that money is declared in the USA?

Yes but ole Comrade and TP won't believe a word of it. They are too indoctrinated by their leaders to actually see the reality of the world. Has Mexico changed it's laws? I could be wrong but I thought that at one time a foreign national could not own property in Mexico. Maybe it is time to buy some land down there.
