The Republicans don't want us to have healthcare.

Thanks to subsidies from the federal government, which will help pay for health insurance on state-based exchanges starting in 2014, many low- to moderate-income Americans will get a break on their premiums.
The lower your income, the larger your subsidy. For instance, those making $17,235 a year will pay no more than 4% of income, or $57 a month, while those with incomes between $34,470 and $45,960 will pay a maximum of 9.5% of income, or $364 a month. The federal government will cover the rest.

The few who can afford health insurance currently ARE subsidizing those with none through exorbitant premiums. THAT is a subsidy via extortion!
Any questions Ms. Ruth?

You are correct in one respect.........low income subsidies come out of taxpayer pockets. However, if you expect that the few who pay their full health premiums now will get a break in cost in the future after nobamacare kicks in?

ROTFLMAO!!!!!
You are delusional.

Healthcare insurance went up 8% this year, and is expected to go up 8% next year as well.
I repeat....
ROTFLMAO!!!!

A whopping 5 people sign up for Obamacare in Iowa
http://www.caintv.com/success-a-whopping-5-pe...

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Hawaii's total still sits at zero.

"The exchanges are a train wreck," we said.

No, no, no," the liberals said. "It's just that they're collapsing because so many people are signing up."

The administration has been cagey about numbers. Surely this is because they that feel bragging about the vast numbers of newly insured Americans would be unseemly. As we all know, Obama is a humble man who doesn't like to do touchdown dances celebrating his successes, so he's clearly taking the high road by not releasing any numbers. As a result, it's been tough to know just how many people are dancing in the streets now that they've been able to purchase glorious, affordable, health care coverage.

Now, at least in Iowa, we have the answer. Drum roll please.........5 sign ups!!!!!!

Hawaii's total still sits at zero.

You are confusing health care with health insurance. Access to health insurance doesn't mean that you will have access to health care. Just ask many Canadians. They can all have health insurance, it isn't a government mandate, but getting health care is a completely different story.

Everyone in this country had access to health care before Obamacare was ramrodded through Congress illegally. No hospital could turn away any patient.

With more and more doctors declining Medicare and Medicaid patients your chances, since many lower income earners are pushed into Medicare, of getting health care with Obamacare will decrease.

Since you don't have to have insurance anymore, pre-existing conditions are all going to be covered, is Obamacare really insurance?

Nice little rant but you have not explained how tens of millions of people who are uninsured because of either pre existing conditions or slender pocketbooks will have access to medical care without the ACA.

Hospitals are required to handle medical emergencies but they will not touch anyone who has chronic diseases or needs a kidney transfer, ongoing cancer treatments, heart disease etc....

I lived in Seattle for a number of years and talked to many Canadians and the vast majority of them were quite pleased with their medical system

You are also forgetting that the State is the one who grants the medical licenses and could just as easily pull them if doctors insist on not accepting, Medicaid, Medicare and Obamacare....

.
How many of those tens of millions could afford health care before but didn't sign up for it? Of the 30 plus million without health insurance, as referred to in the media, there were approximately 7 million that couldn't afford health insurance, 16 million illegals and the rest of the people qualified or could afford insurance but didn't bother.

My insurance rates are higher under Obamacare than they were before.

Of those 7 million they could have been given a card, similar to food stamps, and purchased their own insurance rather than destroying the entire health care system as Obamacare does. You Lefties aren't sympathetic to the uninsured, you merely want government to run the system. You can't stand it that there are wealthy individuals earning a good income in the health care industry.

Funny, you don't seem to mind all the politicians enriching themselves at our expense.

So the handful of Canadians that you happen to run into in Seattle speak for the nation?
