Good, if we all cut back as much as possible and hit them where it hurts they will have to drop prices. Let's pull together and drive nowhere on the weekends. No trips to movies, beach, anywhere. We have the power they know it but we don't, they count on us not sticking together. Just think what would happen if Americans got fed up to the point where they dictated world economics. It's as easy as all of us saying take your gas and stick it I . Let's show them how bad they need us. If all Americans stopped driving on weekends it would send the markets into a spiral. Remember the trend is your friend and short sellers would dominate until oil hits bottom.

There are ways to save on gasoline. They are all over the net. The energy companies are quaking in their boots that hydrogen never catches on before they find a way to control it. There are two things to look up if you are really serious about cutting oil usage.Look them over and see for yourself what can be done. First google Stanley Myers and see what he did and what happened to him. Next go to a site as follows:

We need to put an end to environmental regulations and start drilling in ANWR. People come before protecting the view for polar bears.

Once oil prices are lowered, the demand for fuel will increase. Once that happens, the cost of fuel will rise again.

Our country must become dependent on itself for energy. Lets drill the Gulf now!!!!!

Raise interest rates and gas will go down.

Ofcourse I dont worry about gas prices cause the city of Miami Beach lets me use my police cruiser 24-7 and I live in Homestead so I use it to run errands and sometimes I even take my girl to the movies in it. LOL

I also get a really nice discount at the local movie house cause I am a cop. I just flash my badge and people bow down to me.

If i don't have to drive. I don't Joy riding is a thing of the past. it is not fun when you are constantly checking the gas tank. it is not fun when you have to combine several stops on one trip.

If the US Government spent a trillion dollars over 8 years on domestic oil production from known reserves in the Gulf of Mexico, the Continental Shelf and coal gasification instead of War in Iraq gas would be $2 a gallon or less. America could quit sending billions to countries that sponsor terrorism. And reducing our trade imbalance keeps jobs in America. Every billion of trade deficit costs 13,000 jobs.$400 billion for oil last year: do the math.

America has 1/4th the coal on planet earth. South Africa is producing 300,000 barrels of gas and diesel a day from coal. And synthetic fuel from coal is cleaner burning than gas. And it can be produced cheaper than from $100+ a barrel crude oil.

Harness your anger at the pump. Call you're US Senators and demand they break ground on America's energy independence by encouraging domestic production in this decade. If you donít raise your voice the oil companies and politicians will assume you are ready to pay even more.

Soo short sighted. Instead of destroying what little is left of the natural world, let's really think ahead and find alternatives. Our continued dependence on oil will otherwise eventually lead to a real crisis, one where its not just a matter of bitchin about the price of going on vacation.
