I posted this in Temple too, since I am close to the border of VR I thought I'd ask here as well. Anybody have these door to door meat selling guys come try to sell their steaks recently? I'd like to know what business they worked for. They were complete douchebags.

They come around about every month in my neighborhood. My neighbor bought some stuff months ago and said the meat was about half the original size after it thawed and the water solution pumped in the meat thawed out. I myself would not like to buy meat out of a freezer on the back of a truck! Maybe they are checking out your house to come back and rob you.

I think buying meat from a truck is not a very good idea. There is no one to hold accountable if the meat is ruined, who knows how long those guys have been driving around with the meat or even where it came from.I feel sorry because people nowadays are having a problem finding a job.The guys work for someone else, and more than likely do not have a clue where the meat came from.It is not very safe to go door to door these days.Truck sales of meat is most likely unsafe for all concerned.

The guys I bought some fish and chicken from work out of Lagrange, a company called Atlanta Beef Exchange. I have eaten a few of the fillets that were in my package and they are not good. I would not buy more meat from these people and I may even try to get a refund for what I still have in my freezer.

who knows where this meat has been?Maybe they left the freezer unplugged all night and they thawed out and flies got all over them.Maybe one of the salesmen laid some desperate housewife across the freezer and worked out a few boxes of steaks?Maybe a dog peed on the freezer? What if some scumbag took the steaks in a roach infested house and decided they didnt want them and returned them? What if its buffalo, or dog?were the guys on the truck chinese?
