I also happen to know that rich people don't gain wealth by doing their own work.
Does that mean that you didn't build that?

I know, please have them point to anything out there that was mass-produced and marketed by the poor. Ask how often the poor take part in research and development of the things we use in our daily lives.

The poor are a liability everywhere on earth. They cost money and resources and only produce children. This would be fine if we had other planets to colonize. But we don't and will never at this rate.

I will admit I have worked for some very poor business owners. They had every dime tied up in their business and could barely afford to pay themselves. These are the kinds of people the recent changes are going to destroy. It means that instead of paying the little old man with the pickup to get my trash, I have to deal with Waste Industries (and they SUCK).

Confusing small business with innovation. Many small businesses are poor innovators, many innovators are not good business people. It is a different skill
set. Ask most artists.
R U old enough to remember Cabbage Patch kids? When innovator, xavier Roberts connected with Coleco, a hit was born, or should I say adopted!:)

Quit being a condescending Rube... You're just not sharp enough to pull it off.

I must really be slipping as I let this person use my name and it got by me.
If my post doesn't have a green box with my name in it --It is not me doing the posting.
Actually Bill I think I am flattered. lol

I didn't see this post (the one imitating you)...

It must mean you're upsetting someone. Wasn't it Churchill that said something about it being good when you have enemies, it means you're doing something meaningful?

He is! He's providing a tremendous service to those who missed Neal Boortzs show and wondered what Boortz said that day.

Well, when you keep your head stuck in MSNBC all day, you aren't very likely to hear what is REALLY going on.

Once again, I'm amused by the irony of the posting names of certain unregistered posters...

----
An uneducated and clueless voter is a dangerous thing. They tend to vote Liberal…

“I don’t want someone who doesn’t pay ANY federal income taxes voting to determine how much I pay.”

"I'm not going to let half the country that doesn't pay income taxes be burdened by the other half that doesn't pay their fair share."

Wizard of ID Guard:“Shouldn’t voters have to pass an intelligence test?”
Wizard:“You don’t have to be intelligent to vote.”
Guard:“What if there are more stupid people than intelligent people?”
Wizard:“Then the democrat wins.”

Wealth envy is an ugly thing. They have it. You don't.

Somebody else got all the breaks. You didn't.

They got an education. You didn't.

They worked their a$$es off, including long hours and weekends. You didn't.

They took risks, including investing their own money if necessary, to build a business. You didn't.

"Shared prosperity" = Socialism...

The fact that you can't own land outright, you'll ALWAYS pay taxes just for having it, is certain proof that the original blueprint for America was violated long long ago. Income taxes are another example. Most of our government bureaucracy is purely socialist in execution and manner, so fearing socialism is pretty silly these days. I admit I don't fully understand how the ACA is going to work.

I go back to when we were living paycheck to paycheck and try to imagine what having to buy health insurance on top of that will be like. Back then I didn't have any. I did have the VA as a safety net, but the government started squeezing the Category C veterans (no war, no service-connected damage) out decades ago. Having to buy insurance back then would have meant eating less as all of our other bills were basically fixed.

What I really don't get is the fee/tax/whatever that people will be forced, I think by the IRS, to pay if they don't get insurance. So if you're down on your luck, Uncle Sam is basically going to say "F#(k You, Pay me"? Somebody please explain this to me.

I sometimes think the only free Americans are the ones who own nothing. Then I remember the individual mandate and realize it's possible to own less than nothing in America!

Don't even talk like that. You'll just give Boehner ideas to take back to the Koch Brothers.

Let's add Applebees to the list with Chick-Fil-A and Papa Johns.
It won't be hard, their food sucks as much as their CEO.
If you are going to boycott every restaurant or chain that does this, YOU BETTER LEARN TO COOK!! You won't be eating out much. I heard Red Lobster on Hwy. 5 is considering some action like this.

Red Lobster on Hwy 5 is poorly run and downright nasty. Whoever runs that place is incompetent.
