What happened to the marathon station on hwy 5? Noticed they were closed the other day and moving trucks were backed up to the door.

No - its the one in Bill Arp next to the BOE Annex. Just shut down. Too bad - they kept the EXXON station across the street honest in their gas prices.

He wasn't able to turn a profit since he could not get a license to sell alcohol and closed up shop.

He stole from many with his cash and credit gas prices.

If you paid by check or cash, the pump still charged the extra 4 cents per gallon to the unknowing.

Multiple the 4 cents per gallon overcharge by the thousands of gallons of gas sold and you have a owner that gouged the public and should have been arrested !!

That annex is an eyesore.

When will it take place? Hopefully not in July or August. Its just too hot that time of year. A marathon is 26 miles and people get dehydrated early at that distance. Who is organizing it and what's its fee.?
Think it's a great idea for our county, but I don't think summertime would be good.
