Inside Bank Theft

I read in "The Rock" paper that Sherri Hines, long time employee of West Georgia National Bank/First National Bank/Community & Southern Bank was arrested for stealing money from them for many years. She was the last person you would ever suspect. Maybe this is why it took so long to trace it back to her.

Who are you to throw stones and put someone's name in the spotlight who has possibly done wrong? The last time I checked no one is perfect. If those accusations are true, I do not by any means condone her actions, however, I'm sure if God pulled up mine or your name, there would be many things He, as well as others, would consider to be wrong. She has 3 children who will be facing this not only in school, but also in society when they hear whispers and see pointing because of something their mother possibly did. You need to think about the family members who are innocent in this and will pay for you keeping gossip going... and in this country, you are innocent until proven guilty. I'll make sure I comment on you when you slip up one day and make a mistake..

No, maybe not, but I still made my point.
Obviously you missed the part where I said I don't condone her actions IF she is guilty.

Obviously you did not see the part about " she is the last person you'd ever suspect". I was shocked at what I read. I've talked to her numerous times and was curious as to why it has been so out of the media?

bad news has allways been kept quiet in Carroll county.A lot of things become sorta private here in West Ga.Maybe to protect the families feelings. That is the way it has allways been.

Yes she is a person you would least expect because she and her family are good people. There are a lot of rumors going around and all you are doing is keeping it going by posting about it. Maybe the reason it is 'so out of the media' is because the stories you are going on are rumors. I've heard 3 different stories from different people about what happened, so that should tell you one thing- stories change!

Sunshine008 acts like she knows the story or sherry personally, maybe you should fess up....... It has probably been kept out of the news for the privacy of the customers that she took advantage of. With less rumors circulating around town the bank would be able to talk to their customers and build evidence. I have before worked at a bank and there is no hiding anything with all the cameras and paper trails. Maybe she should save the money that she is going to spend on lawyers and tell the truth. As for us thinking about her family and how the "rumors" would effect them, she should have thought about that before she victimized those people whom trusted her with their money.

Yes it is very true and yes she has been arrested. You people are feeling sorry for a woman who stole our money. She was living high on the hog while we all struggle to keep gas in our cars

This is a childhood friend.I do not believe it! Either she was framed or pushed to the brink. It's totally out of character. The facts of the case seem rather circumstantial.

Well MMM take a look at the video from wsb tv. They pan over the front of Hines home. You can see her BRAND NEW Hummer with expensive chrome and a vanity plate that says "Sherri"

Fortunately, a jury of her peers and an investigation into the FACTS have found the truth.
Unbelievable

It never ceases to amaze me how people can determine guilt based on a slanted news cast and someone's personal belongings. Sherri and her husband have worked hard for everything they have and anyone that knows her knows she would never be involved in anything like this. Even as the articles announcing the jury's (who saw the actual evidence or lack there of) decision is written, they continue to focus on what she was falsly accused of.... Simple unbelievable. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guily?
