Who's facebook page did you see? They haven't released a name yet. I saw this on the Hoax facebook page this afternoon and couldn't believe it. We got a wedding set there. So sad.

To Local yocal - your comment made me physically ill. I sincerely hope something happens in your life that will bring you to your knees, soften your heart, and make you understand the sanctity of human life. I don't know the Mobley family well, but I have been in their store enough to know that he was a kind hearted man. I will pray that nobody who loved him ever sees your comment.

The Mobleys are a hardworking, family and I have always felt well treated when I was in their store. My heart goes out to the family and employees in this tragic loss of a good man. How terrible that one senseless act can touch so many lives permanently.

Sadly, Atlanta is moving this way....I'm currently living in Douglasville and have considered Villa Rica as a relocation spot. The thugs have made Int. 20 one of their major thoroughfares, esp. 20 west. Here in Douglas County our commissioners sell the county to developers of cheap housing, cheap businesses, etc. and the thugs are a large part of the result of it. I fear what Douglas and Carroll Counties may become in 5 or 10 more years. Yeah this sounds rather negative but for right now, Villa Rica is a good place to raise a family in my opinion.

The selling out to developers by Commissioners starting way back to the days of Gwynne Maurer up to Rita Rainwater and was, and IS, the root and cause of what is happening now in Douglas County.

Many screamed about what would happen when you allowed so many "Modified trailers on slab" homes without demanding quality.

When you plan without a plan and just want your pockets padded, this is what happens.

Douglas County boom turned into a BUST! They had the chance though to clean it up and failed.....Thankfully we are too far out to become a South Fulton, Dekalb or Clayton County - well at least Western Douglas....Eastern Douglas is toast!

Sending love and prayers to the Mobley Family, this is so very tragic. We do not really understand things like this.Just do not understand the mind of someone who would enter a business and murder a person who is working and trying to make the area a good place to live. This is so very heartbreaking to me,I love Carroll county!Born and raised here,I never would have thought something like this could happen here.I hope these people who commited this horrible murder will be caught and brought to justice.I sure am sorry this long time Carroll county family is having to go through this sad time.

Very, very true ! I live close to the Carroll Co. line though I'm in Douglas.....I give our area 10 years, possibly a few more until it becomes a complete mess like E. Douglas.

Currently live in VR and have since 2001. I'm getting the heck out of Dodge as soon as I can. Douglas County has already fallen, the next domino to fall will be the VR area. I'm sad to see my homeland turn into what it has.....a place where I have to carry a pistol concealed virtually everywhere. I'm heading north.
