boonebizonline - REALLY? LOL predatory? Last time I checked in USA it's called capitalizing on things, you know Capitalism. Is there such a thing as appropriate and inappropriate capitalism. Only when you are the one that's not raking in the money. As far as publishing an article from a paper's crime blotter, WOW, get a life. Are you angry that he was too cheap to list in your "directory"?

BooneBiz is right on target. I am not surprised by this story. Obviously the ones attacking him are either college students or people who prey on them and feel the need to defend themselves.

I think BooneBiz is just posting a crime story as a way to plug their directory. No real interest in the story other than "I'm glad he isn't in MY directory." Didn't work, I am not visiting the site.

No Bob, it's you that wont survive with your mentality. If you condone strangling people you will end up in one of two places. The first is prison.

First of all, I didn't post this story, topix.com did. Secondly, if I had, I wouldn't have been so nice about it.

Well it's nice to know that there are those who are looking at the site. I do not post the news, it is actually posted by topix.com Regardless of its source, I still do not condone getting drunk and strangling anyone. For those of you who have labeled me as retarded, jesus freak and just trying to grab attention; I will tell you this.
Capitalism isn't the issue, the sell of alcohol is not the real focus here, jesus is not the focus here. The focus is that this business owner was intoxicated when he strangled a female employee. If the shit he was drinking has that effect on him, then I can understand why people who are drinking the same brew are so twisted.

Whoever represented theirself as BooneBizOnline here, know this, you're playing with fire. It is a serious crime to impersonate a business. For future reference, I can speak for myself. Do not falsely represent me.

BooneBiz, how do you know he was drinking when this happened? Where was that info listed? And, by your comments you appear to be extremely anti business.

"Any person who runs an establishment which serves alcohol to college students is considered by myself to be of a predatory nature anyway."

What a joke of a comment.

Read between the lines! This case was referred to the North Carolina Alcohol Control Commission and on top of that he was charged with one count of sexually explicit conduct. That's how I know he was intoxicated. I can't reveal everything that I am aware of here but I do know what I know. As to this type of business being predatory. In the sense that they only want your money without any concern for your well-being makes them predatory. When I was your age, people tried to tell me also. When you're my age, you'll better understand how alcohol use hindered your efforts. Until then, sit back and pop another cold one. Drink it down 'til you can't get up! 20 years from now you'll understand.

Read between the lines? OK. Nick and his girlfriend were drinking at the Parthenon after hours. Things got a little steamy & kinky...They both got into it pretty good... things begin to get a little "rough"...girl gets angry because things are getting too rough....Nick maybe goes a little too far...Is that too far off base? As for this comment "they only want your money without any concern for your well-being makes them predatory." It's a restaurant man! Concern for your well being? It appears you've got something against restaurants. What about Hardee's for example? Nothing they serve is good for you. They obviously have zero concern for anyone's health or well being, right? Why don't you just come out and say you have a problem with alcohol being sold? That's what it sounds like. Yes, I know what alcohol does to people....I was in college too 20 years ago....

I have come out and said that I have a problem with alcohol being sold, especially when it leads to violence ( aka strangulation and sexually explicit behavior). Either way, I don't care if they let him retain his license or not. Let's face it, if you want to defend; go to court with him and tell the judge the same lame duck stuff you're telling me. I'm not losing any sleep over this issue, in fact if you'll thoroughly read my comment you'll see where I stated that it's not my place to judge it. Your whole argument comes down to the sell of alcohol to college students and my opinion differs from yours. Why so defensive? Frankly, in the end, my opinion will remain the same. There's no need to keep trying to debate something which is clearly questionable. I do appreciate your feedback but try to open-minded with it. You have been defensive from letter one and that within itself is not good dialogue. As for the late night, after hour rough sex scenario; what part of no do you not understand? If the other party says no, the party's over.

OK, let's face it. We all have different opinions and very few of us totally agree with one another. Opinions are just that, opinions. They do not necessarily make us right or wrong. Should we always voice our opinions? No, even though we do have that right ( for now anyway ). It is when we become the target of criticism for voicing our opinions that the breakdown of that right has begun. If you disagree with another person's opinion, at least display some sense of self-dignity. Defensive tactics are never a good way to communicate your thoughts and they may reveal more about your own motives than you realize. Our words are a true picture of who we are and what we represent. We will never change the mindset of others by arguing our thoughts but through calm open-minded conversation we can cause others to consider our viewpoints. Even though we may disagree with someone's opinion, we have no right to attack that opinion. Doing so just makes us look bad and does absolutely nothing to further our cause. In short, let's try to be respectful of one another and show others that we have a sense of self-respect.
