I look forward to the day when someone unloads a double barrel 12 gauge on one of the B&E clowns.

"Willis Robert Toothman III, arrested by Asheville police on a charge of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering after he took a camcorder, digital camera and iPod from a home. He was released on a written promise to appear in court"

WTF??? He was in the arrrest blotter yesterday for cashing 11 faked paychecks w/in 10 days at an ingles in Blk Mtn. Amazing that he could post bond and then get charged with the above. AND be released on a written promise to appear in court! Get off the stuff man!!!!!

Does anyone see the irony in releasing this guy on a promise?

Unless these folks commit a felony, then they will all be released on a written promise, regardless of what the previous charges were.

The time is coming when law enforcement won't even bother to hunt them down if they break their promise. We have fewer and fewer policeman and more and more lawbreakers. I never wanted a gun before, but I'm looking to get and learn to use one now. And I can tell you I wouldn't hesitate one moment to shoot any SOB that dares come into my home uninvited. It's time to get rid of the trash and cockroaches--even if we have to do it ourselves.

OH, COME ON PEOPLE. THESE POOR GUYS WERE EITHER ABUSED AS CHILDREN, UNDERFED, DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH, WERE TRYING TO ESCAPE THE POLICE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY WHERE THEIR HANDS MAY HAVE BEEN CUT OFF OR SOME OTHER MEAN OLE TREATMENT. THEY PROBABLY DIDN'T GET AN EDUCATION BECAUSE....
WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? DON'T YOU RESPECT THE LAW AND THE JUDGES OF TODAY? THERE ISN'T ENOUGH ROOM IN JAILS ANYWAY. BUT I THINK THAT INSTEAD OF BUILDING MORE PUBLIC HOUSING AT THE TAX PAYERS EXPENSE WE SHOULD JUST BUILD THE JAILS WE NEED OR MAYBE, JUST MAYBE KEEP ILLEGALS OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE OR HAVE EXPRESS BUSES AT THE BOARD THAT SAY, "GRAVEY TRAIN TO FREE EVERYTHING" (PRESS 1 FOR ESPANOL).
POST A SIGN SAYING "INFIDEL HANGOUT" HAVE SWAT TEAM READY TO SHOOT ANY CAR HEADED OR IT OR FOR A GUY WITH A FAT BELLY OF CHEST WITH A RAG ON HIS HEAD. WAIT. NO THAT WOULD BE "ENTRAPMENT" ANY JUDGE WOULD KNOW THAT...WELL, THINK OF SOMETHING!
MAYBE PUTTING VERY SHORT TERM LIMITS ON JUDGES AND TRY TO VOTE FOR ONE THAT ISN'T AGIN US RATHER THAN FOR US.

He also gave an address of Buncombe County Detention Center. Do they allow them to leave to commit crimes?

You know as much as I do. I thought it was, too.
This one guy is obviously scum. Why do law abiding people have to continue to endure things like this?

Stuff like this makes me wonder why society is not full of "Dexters". For those not familiar with this excellent showtime serial, Dexter is a serial killer who offs serial killers. If the courts won't do their jobs, it is hard to understand why the local officers bother to risk their lives to bring this scum in.

If they listed the 20 Davidson Dr. address, it usually means they are "homeless", or a John Doe.

Im not sure if it is or not, but you would think, huh?

I might be wrong, but I believe it becomes a felony if someone is present in the home.

I'm sure there are also other extenuating circumstances such as the value of what is stolen, etc.

APD magistrates need an education on how to dish out bonds. With all the magistrates in this city,
too many vary the bonds. It must be whether they
wake up cranky or happy.

At least Buncombe County stuck to the guy with the coins and theft of cards.

What is the purpose of the HARD work the APD officers do if the magistrates give up low bonds.

Is there any way you can understand that your CAPS locks is on and it makes it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to read your posts.

How difficult is it to use your pinky finger and click it OFF?

Go ahead and bury the body. Anyone that moves
a dead body will be found. It is not that easy.

Screw the rights of a criminal. Anyone that enters your home or attempts to break in and armed, shoot first. And leave the body where it is at. If you are in true fear of your safety
and your family's safety, I would shoot. If the
person B & E, is killed, that is his/her misfortune.
