I do agree with Paddy here that media has published the news and it has created a havoc in Punjab, where as the truth is it has nothing to do with Sikhs as a religion. Ravidassias are a different sect and originated due to oppression of Indian Caste System ( Hindus especially ), Since Sikhism believes in equally without the differenciation on gender,color and caste, these Ravidasi follow there certain teaching and way of life.

But both are different, Ravidassi is a Sect, Sikhism is a religion.

The reported should have known this fact before publishing a story and now have divided the workd to put scanner on Sikhs.

Guru Ravi Dass's holy sermans are in SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI.,not in Hindu's holy book GEETA.
With due respect to every body,Sikhism a branch of hinduism. Based on their caste and religion first Nine Sikhs were Hindu's.
This holy book " SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI" is not only for sikh's but for the whole universe and human kind who belived in better of every human being.("SARBAT KA BHALA").
I will encorge my sikh brothers and sisters to read " SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI" and find out how many times our GURU JEE had used the words HAR,RAM,NIRANJAN,KISHAN,SADHAM A,GOPAL,GOBIND etc.Our Guru's used these words to address mighty GOD with different names out of love and affection,but there is only God "EK ONKAR".

Rather If you ask me I will write that ravidassia are dalits who believe in the ideology of Sikh Gurs and Sikh religion but only differs in perpetual Guru Gaddi.
They may be converted in sikhism or not, they can be of any religion.
But I am do at pain for the 2 of you have lectured on the concept of Sikhism.( and that is the basic problem with our people that we jump to conclusions )
The most important thing for me Guru Ravidass is at same level as my other Gurus in my heart. I feel ( my personal thought ) when the bani of Bhagat Ravidass is in Guru Granth Sahib , then they have been equatted at same platform.
For me everything religions is equal and every human is at same platform.
So, my dear friends, to err is human to forgive is divine, Pl dont pass the judgement.

You pointed facts (in your opinion). I guess you got from a flyer posted outside a gurudwara by some RSS member.

If one is sikh he/she is not longer a ravidasia or anyone else. Bhagat Ravidas never started ravidasia sec nor did Kabir, only the people who had their vested interest in people remain non-sikh starated these practices.

You have not right to speak up when you do not even know what sikhism is.

You guys are absolutely right that incident happened at a Guru Ravidass Temple, a Ravidassi place of worship not a Sikh gurudwara. So it is a case of terrorist sikhs attacking a different place of religion just because they don't like some saints. This was an attack by sikhs terrorists on peace loving Ravidassis worshippers and their saints.
In case, sikhs are thinking of shirling their responsibility from this act, it is them. Internal sikh fights people don't care about these days, because they are always fighting with each other like morons.
By the way, muslims called sikhs a "sect" and British called them a criminal tribe. I think they are both. So one religion is other person's sect.
