Probate Judges Race

[Blinded by corruption]

You must be blind not to see how the Probate Judge controlled the elections. The candidates for the Sheriffs race played up to him to get the black votes. Wake up and smell the bad coffee, you folks. He is going with your women cause he thinks he is too good to go with us. Yet, you sit and arugue about the Sheriff. The Sheriff will be determined by him not your vote nor mine. Get real. ASk the deputies and Lance Hooks supporters, if you dare, you might get the truth. Ask Mr. and Mrs. Quick, they are doing a really good job of playing both sides. Ask Buddy Rogers,(look at the nubers in the paper first, so he can't deny the connection). I may not be as smart as all you socalled good folks but when its bad, it stinks to my nose just like any white persons nose

I think TJ supported Lance for sheriff. But he only got in the runoff by 9 votes.

I don't think he has as much power as you think he does. TJ was having a hard time running his own race. I doubt he was that worried about who would win the other races.

Buddy politicked black folks as well as white. If you don't believe that, ask some black people!I've seen alot of them fanning with his fans. That's how he got the black vote. If you believe that TJ helped Tommy and Buddy get the black vote, then why is there a run-off for sheriff?

I've been reading alot of negative posts about TJ. Personally, I don't know the man, which is why I did not vote for him. But I'm just wondering: If no one likes him, how in the heck did he get re-elected by such a large margin???? If no one likes him, how can he "influence" so many people to vote for himself?

that easy to answer.tj office is rite were peeple early vote.he would shake hands and ask for there vote 5 feet from his office.the lady ran aganst him could not even be in same bilding to ask for there vote.he asked evrybody to early vote so he can influence them when they come vote.thats were he got most his votes.plus he spervise the elections.he picks who works the poles.mostly his friends.and his frends push tj name when old peeple need help to vote.a man runing for office should not be able to supervise nd pick peele.this a crooked town.just pitiful.

To all ignorant people who are complaining about the elections being rigged, where are you at when the TS Units are being programmed and L & A Testing (which means logic and accuracy) are being done? I have worked in the elections. I have been there when this is being done and there is no way to rig the elections. Why do you complain about something and make false accusations about something you know nothing about? Are you really that STUPID? Are you too lazy to show up when this testing is being done? This testing is open to the public. You would rather sit on your butt and complain about something you know nothing about. So stay in bed, watch tv, and continue making your stupid complaints. And furthermore, the comments made about TJ or any other public official, private life is none of your business. These are people just like you who have a right to privacy. Lets leave our former sheriff alone. He has been through enough. He was the best damn sheriff Treutlen County has had.

If you can remember, TJ ran a ad in the paper for pole workers a few years ago. Most of the ones that helped in the past would not work the poles so he had to run an ad. He got the ones that answered the ad. So if you have a problem with the pole workers then maybe you should have answered the ad.

If I am not mistaken, I do believe that TJ may be the HIGHEST paid of the elected officials.

To "Wilson". How can he be? He has not been in office but for 4 years. The Clerk has been in 24 years. To me, he is the highest paid. If you really want to know, it is in the law books. When a person takes office, the beginning salary is published in the O.C.G.A. law books under Probate Court Salary, Clerk of Superior Court Salary, and Tax Commissioner Salary.
