What is the fascination with drunks and driving? These folk are too drunk to walk but think nothing of getting in a car and driving. It sound cliche, but I think stiffer sentences are in line for these fools.

Debbie Pearson was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. There will always be a piece of her in our hearts.
We know that Debbie is now with her precious grand daughter Delaney ,who passed away this morning.
We will miss you both.

Debbie Pearson a true friend and co worker. She truly loved her Mother, Son and Grandbabies. If she only knew how many people loved her. I was lucky to have know her. Some people come into our lives and quickly and some leave footprints on our hearts and we're never same.
And I'll never be the same! Thank you Debbie for being my friend.

Debbie was my friend, My partner in breaks at the office and someone who really cared about people. She was the person in our office who did not judge others and avoided ever hurting anybodys feeling. She had a loving gentle spirit. She loved her family deeply and shared her pictures and stories with us with pride. We will all miss her and never forget her.
We love you Debbie

As I just get through reading about all the upset illegal immigrants making a big stink about police checkpoints, then read this story. It breaks my heart to read something like this. This woman and child died in an accident that could have been prevented either by a checkpoint or just by this idiot being smart enough to not get behind the wheel of his car while drunk. Prayers go out to the family of this woman and child.

We already have checkpoints and drunks like this are still a problem. I think an increased social stigma against drunks and drunk driving as well as public shaming for convicted drunk drivers would help more than checkpoints (revenue points.)

I don't think that remark was unnecessary at all. If the guy had a mexican name everyone would have assumed he was born in mexico and would be telling him to go home. The racist use any forum to bash mexicans.

Ha Ha Ha...don't even try to compare apples to oranges. Let's see how many DUI accident stories andd statistics you can pull up involving whites compared to how many involve Mexicans. Pendejo!

MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY FIRST N FOREMOST,I WAS VERY INSENSITIVE TO THE SITUATION.

now my point was to show that crimes are CRIMES, regardless of religion, race, or creed, but it seems lately people have been so caught up in making racist remarks when they read about news on this website, it makes me sick!WE are all from the same seed and it seems that as humanity we are heading for extinction. WE can no longer live amongst one another as US citizens, illegal immigrants, legal immigrants, anglos, africans, asians and so on. we as a society have been breeding negativity and now its grown up and kicking our ass!

WAKE UP SHEEPLE WE WILL NOT SURVIVE IF WE DONT START LOVING ONE ANOTHER AND BECOME MORE POSITIVE AS A WHOLE!ONE LOVE.

This is a tragedy for all parties involved.

The man driving that car will pay for his actions for the rest of his life, if he even makes it.
Sadly, a four year old little girl was taken in this accident as well as her grandmother. This is the saddest thing I know. Drunk drivers are on the road every single night and even a story as sad as this won't teach them any lessons.

I'm a mom of two girls the same ages as the little girls involved... my heart breaks for the Ryan Pearson.

Please... people if you're out partying with your friends and you know they've been drinking, don't allow them to drive. Call a cab. A 20 dollar cab ride could save three lives.

Why drink alcohol in the first place? It's ruionous to the body and jacks your brain so that you engage in ass-o-holic behaviour. How tragic for the Pearson family, having their mother/grandmother
and daughter/grandaughter killed by a drunk, selfish, wreckless stranger.
I will never get a DUI/DWI because I will never drink alcohol. Why does anybody drink it? Even if the "high" is pleasurable, the drinker eventually has to come down to face the shit in life that we all face. Life isn't easy for anyone. Using alcohol does nothing but bring additional trouble. 5879
