from 31K to 10 mil. Is it any wonder that people hate attorneys? he overcharged and got caught and now he wants the town to settle out of court to CLEAR his name on something that HE should have gotten a slap from the bar association for.
10 mil. that's a lot of firemen to lay off.

He didn't overcharge. He charged more for work that the Town was charging back to developers... a common practice, perhaps a bit greedy, but a common practice nonetheless. The developers paid the money to the Town, but the Town never paid Jones. The Town had every right to change that policy, but they should have paid Jones what he was legally due and then make the change in policy on what he could charge. The Town still has the $31000 in question... the developers should ask for it back!

It has become very clear and witnessed first hand that Attorney Michael Jones Jr does not practice good ethics as he claims. He is without a doubt the most unethical, negligent and reckless attorney I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Apparently Jones must believe that he is above the law and is not held accountable for his negligence and his unethical practices. How could he possibly be appointed as a Law Guardian by the court to represent small defenseless children when his integrity is held in question. I honestly believe that Jones will have several larger issues to contend with before he gets his day in court.
