Not at all. I just don't want to add to the financial disaster by spending money I don't have.
And you don't have to "over extend" to contribute to the problem. Every month you carry over a balance, regardless of whether you make regular, timely payments, you are living behond your means and adding to the fiscal problem.
not living ,(try this) "BEYOND" my means, can afford it very easily....

Anthropologie is upscale, on what planet????

Get a Neiman Marcus or Saks and then talk upscale.

Better yet...how about a Neiman's or Nordstrom rack store, or an Off Fifth store. That would be nice.

I & my family are doing very well, thank you & so are many, many of our friends. Maybe some of the complainers & fear mongerers need to put their energy in working harder, getting more education, roll up your sleeves & get going-instead of trying to kill whatever's left of America's economy with your panic-driven DRIVEL!

It's not "GOSSIP" when you're laid off from your job, go visit your neighbors and find out that 80% of them are also suddenly on unemployment, with no indication that anything is turning around for any of us, and it's really hard to get excited about some high-end stores opening up in some mall somewhere as a sign of an up-swing. It's a sign of another store that will be empty by the end of the year. Another deserted mall. They're all over the place, but let's put even more expensive stores in them, the last ones did so well.

Hey, Bill Jenkins, who are you talking to? I've worked my whole life and only ever drew U.I. once before in 1996 for a few months. I've now exhausted my first 26 weeks and going on an extension. I'm one of the lucky ones, I'm being called back in August. My neighbors in this one-horse, no-stop-light town are not so lucky. This isn't "jungle" mentality, it's the pioneer days out here! Any one of us would trade every penny of Unemployment for a week's paycheck and kiss your behind to boot!

What is helping the most to reduce the work force in the US is the outsourcing to low cost (read no cost) countries like China and India. Every time you buy something from the sweatshops in those countries, you help someone here loose their job. Boycott the lousy China and India made goods - it may save your job...and maybe your life, the way they keep putting lead and poison in the goods they export.
Totally agree with you!!!!!!

Glad someone is doing well!

I Don't listen to those you say, then I don't listen to any of the Media because they are all full of themselves and have an agenda! CNN MSNBC NBC CBS ABC you name it, they are all Propaganda Machines. But what i will believe are the numbers I see in New Orders where I work, We never had a week last year without overtime, and many Sundays also. We could not keep up with the orders that were coming in! And they Hired and Hired! Now that the bottom has fallen out and the So Called Stimulus Package has been doled out to the states, It Isn't Working, In Fact many states have spent the money given them for certain projects has been spent to fill in for their Fiscal Irresponsibility's by filling their deficits and budget gaps!
And any company that would benefit by many projects is the one I work for. Yet we have laid off over 200 and seen many more take retirement packages. The Wind Turbines were supposed to have been a part of the projects, yet we have seen a Gigantic Drop off in that area as well.

Glad your doing good, but many are not, the numbers show that every state has higher unemployment rates that have gone up. I will say one thing, Thank God for the Chinese and the Asian Markets, because that is where we are getting new orders for! All we have had here is Cancellations or Postponements many of which are open ended so they may as well be cancellations as well! And BTW, I'd like to work harder, and seeing as your doing so well, buy something from us so we can keep busy!
