I agree that anyone has their right to smoke, as long as it does not interfere with those who do not want to be around it. If you want to subject yourself to cancer, bad lungs, stinkiness, and dried up wrinkled face as if you live in Clarksville, TN, then go right ahead.

Also a good point about the fried foods. That stuff is worse for us I am sure.

Why would anybody want to smoke anyway. All smoking does is give you lung cancer, make you look wringly old & real ugly, makes you smell worser than horse manure.I tell you a true story in seen on the news.A woman worked in a casino in tunica ms.She couldn't breath so she went to the hospital. When she got there 20 minutes later she died. They did autopsy on her & found her lunges where smothered in smoke. Now get this she was a non smoker.Casinos in tunica need ban smoking in all there casinos. Now they say if you ban smoking in casinos. The casinos will loose business.Well if il can do it & gain business. Then tunica can to no excuses.

Yeah, open up a non-smoking casino and see how well it does.
They passed that non-smoking crap here in Omaha and every bar owner, bartender, waiter, and seemingly everyone else is suffering badly. Lots of bars are just empty and dead now, because everybody drives 30 minutes away to Iowa to drink and smoke.
You can still smoke at 2 of the 3 casinos because they're boats.
I say if you don't want to be around smoke, don't go to a smoker friendly establishment.
Private owners and companies alike should have the final say on smoking in the establishments that THEY, NOT the government, own.
you so right!!!

The casinos in illinois have a smoking ban in there casinos. They lost revenue at first but now there gaining money.Besides the casinos make money off the gamblers not the smokers.Everybody forgets that there are workers that work in casinos & have to inhale that shit everyday.Casinos are gonna have to realize that smoke is a health hazard to customers & employes. You want to keep your customers not kill them with nasty ass tobaco smoke. You can't make no money if your customers are dead.

Smoking casinos remind of a walk in death sentence.Which is true because everybody looks like the living dead because of all the smoke they inhaled.I swear i seen my great, great, great grandmother in goldstrike casino in tunica ms last night.Nope it was just a 22 year old woman smoking a cig.

Does anyone know where my cousin Butch Stanton is these days? Saw something on the Internet where he plays those role playing games. He used to teach school somewhere around there. Haven't seen him in years.

I worked for a fellow in Tunica, Mississippi named Butch. I cannot remember his last name. He was my boss when I was doing groundskeeper work for the Southern Belle Casino in 93. Your cousin wouldn't by any chance be that fellow would he? If not, do you know where I might find him?

There should be accommodations in every public facility for smokers and adequate ventilation for those who do not smoke. I am a former smoker and know how hard it was to stop and I stopped because of my health. It does not bother me if someone smokes but I do not want it blown in my face. I am also not tempted to take the habit up again because I smell the tobacco smoke! I go to Casinos and if the smoke is to bad I leave!! However, most casinos have non smoking floors also!~! I do not think that the feds should tell establishments to ban smoking because it is not that easy for folks to quit!
