I can't even address your post because it's so stupid and misguided. I never said teachers only want 50%
and that stat isn't innaccurate. It's true. Look it up before you start firing off your ignorant uninforned mouth.
My Friend, You need to take some time off and chill out! If you are a Teacher I really woudn't want you around my Child especeilly the way your ranting on this thread. Wow---- We do need urin testing in the worst way.

It's clear to see that You & HUH are pointing fingers in the direction of for your frustration. We'll assume You both are Parents and also must agree that it is a difficult task raising Children in this fast paced world we've made for ourselves. I most whole heartally agree that SOME Parents can take the blame for bringing up so unruly Kids, but not all. And the School in general is not allways right every time. It's give and take. Many times the Teacher must gain the respect of the class before any learning can begin and vise versa. But if You must vent your anger don't make excuses for a down deep hidden problem that may lead to alcohol or drugs to help you get through another day. As the old saying goes; "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" This topic was about the actions of a certain Staff member of School. This topic has come up before about the same person. If that person DOES have a problem then the people that is around and count themselves as Friends should try to help before the situation worsens. Realizing there is a problem is the first step.
I have no frustrations what-so-ever except to say that I think we have a great school system overall. Is it perfect? No. Is there always room for improvement? Yes. I just get tired of people blaming the schools and teachers for everything their children do. Especially when the parents themselves are doing drugs, drinking to excess, not working and overall not taking care of their own children and then blaming the school when the kids do something wrong. I realize that the school can be wrong sometimes but if a parent believes that, then they need to go address the situation in an adult manner. I belive there are good and bad in each and every profession. But overall, we have a pretty good school. And, to answer your question, yes, I am a parent that have/had children in our school system.

You ingreats have no flipping clue what you're taking about. You have no clue how hard it us to be a teacher. The kids aren't bad, it's the stupid, excuse making parents who want to fire every teacher who doesn't make special exceptions for their children. They start slanderous gossip on an anonymous forum and run their mouths in the community. It's ridiculous how much teachers have to do and put up with for little pay. It's hard enough without jackass parents making it even harder. YOU are the reason over 1/2 of teachers change careers within the first 5 years.
Question. Should this teacher (assuming they are a teacher)be allowed to have a CCW in school?

maybe we should start drug testing parents when they come for parent/teacher conferences. Might give the teacheres a new perspective of why the child is having problems in his or her school performace.

Yes teachers should be drug tested.And yes it is a hard job to teach children. Some parents might feel there child is blameless. I have raised kids in Morgan County School District and if I had to do it over I would Home School my kids.
Cause there are teachers getting drunk,hurting people,and sexually abusing kids.
You know Hmmmm its funny I think back to when my children were growing up. I believed the Teachers,Principal,Staff. And every time I tried to make my children responsible for there actions,"the school" employees called Social Services on me saying I was abusing my kids, which I have been accused but found innocent every time. Why because, some employees of "the School" decided I wasn't a good enough mom because I was single!
So here are 2 of the funniest things "the School" has done;
1.A little girl in the lunch line hit my son in the face with a lunch tray,he got a black eye,and questioned over 3 times about what happened.After the 3rd time of telling the truth he thought they didn't believe him,so he said he got the black eye playing ball at recess.Social Services was at my door before I even knew he had a black eye.
Was "The School" held responsible? No.
2.Another son of mine was kicked off the bus for fighting and back talking the bus driver. Kicked off for a week.
You know where he was? Getting his hunter safety course & football practice. And at that time the principle was the coach and knew where he was. But I still had to drive him to school cause the bus driver said he was kicked off the bus for a week.
So Hmmm those are just 2 examples. Maybe "the school" should let parents be parents and the teachers be teachers!
Example 3... 1 person at the school called social services over my house having heat twice while I was improving my home.Social Services had to come to my home twice to look at my furnace,& wood stove to make sure there was heat and then she showed up at my house
and told me that since I could not take care of my son she would like to take him to raise.
