I see we lost again last night. I love football but the coaching staff at Madison is HORRIBLE. You have a bunch of fat gut men trying to coach at high school level and very few even went to college and played! Then you have a coach that is crying his son is gone off to play as the other one did and quit before the season was over. We would have a good football team if we HAD a coachibg staff that could grab their ass with both hands! It is sad to let this sport fall thru the cracks because of plin STUPIDITY!!

There is lots of talent in the sophomore class but you have two coaches who have freshmen sons who are glory seekers. You have a coach missing his son and the rest are scratching their heads to figure out the game. Sad sad.

I know I about puked when I heard him talking about his son in the paper and on the radio like he was the whole team last year! There was tons of talent last year and should have been one of their best years but coaching they have in place is killing the program. The two coaches you are talking about have sons that can't play and never will be any good! They can glory seek all they want will never do them any good. The one coach thinks he is all that and has so much college experiance in playing when in fact he never even went to ANY college. Madison isnt about the kids that play and enjoy doing it it is about the parents that think they are hot crap and think they are somebody! Madison football needs coaches that love the game and wants the program to succed not coaches that cant coach and wants to think this makes them something!

I would suggest that the folks writing on this forum are parents thinking there son is better than he actually is.Madison doesnt have a talented team this year. You cannot compete in high school sports with talented under class men.You dont get 67 points scored on you if you have talented players.

Hey Dick oops I mean pecker I dont have a kid on Madison this year but let me tell you last year was some pretty good kids and they only won one game IT IS THE COACHING STAFF PERIOD!!The coaches that was worth their salt they seem to tell them to move on or let them go .IT'S NOT ABOUT THE PARENTS THAT GRIP BECAUSE YOU THINK THEIR KIDS ARNT PLAYING! IT'S ABOUT PARENTS THAT HAVE SET IN THE STANDS FOR 8 YEARS AND SEEN THE SAME CRAP GOING ON with coaching ! I think there where three that is going on too the next level to play and I know for a fact that one had pull from his dad to go and the other two are going because of their own determination not any thing any of those so called coaches did for THEM!!

This school, Madison, has never had a winning football program, period. The coaches are the best that is available. Who in their right mind would come to this screwed up community to coach? The player you speak of from last year, needed no one to help him get to the next level! He was the best player on the field. If he would have played at Jeff, Columbus East or any other scool, he probably would have went to a bigger program than he did.

The major problem is simple, A) the youth programs are a joke. B) the parents sit around and talk how bad the coaches are so the kids fall right in line. All this does is breeds losers. Quit cryIng and pointing the fingers at everyone, tell your son to have dedication and want to want succeed. And you as a parent, help anyway possible for him to achieve :better grades, become bigger, faster, stronger , smarter and most importantly appreciate everyone who ever helped him to accomplish positive things .

tired of it all... He may have been a better player at this level lets see how he does in college time will tell like his brother who never even finished his college season before he quit!! Madison will never have a winning season and that is sad but it is coaching and yes he got help because his dad is friends with the college coach yes lets see out of the three that went to play at next level who prevails! And also he was not the only kid on the field without others he would not have been any kind of standout thats the problem it is always just one that gets the glory time will tell i am sure! It takes a team not one kid and with the coaching staff it takes coaches that know how to coach PERIOD

Alot of talent in the Sophomore class? Lil Johnny isnt on the junior high team anymore so you need to realize you cant kiss the coaches ass & decide what position he will be playing or even if he is going to play. I know Lil Johnny will play for the NFL in a few years but for now just shut the hell up & tell him to hit the freakin books because thats all he has going for him. When was the last time you saw at kid from Madison actually make money at this sport? Grow up & enjoy your kids while you can dumbass, its a game & dont quit your day job just yet!!!

Sounds like Madison is jealous. Like I said, best player on the field. You are complaining about nonsense. Every team across this great nation has a player that is the best on that team. No one ever said the others were not important. But I am glad you are that parent that tears down others achievements because your son did not get the ball.

Object of every sport score more that your opponent and you will win.
Best players increase the chance of that happening.

Don't be a hater , teach your child about TEAM.

I personally feel that there needs to be a parent/player/coach meeting to get things cleared up. I have heard SO many rumors and complaints I don't know what to believe. I hate to say it but not sure if the drama & politics this year is worth being on the team. I have come to really enjoy football but not sure much of it is going on. I feel that the team has become divided because of this and some of the boys are turning against each other. How can they be a team if they don't even like each other? This is Madison Football this is why we dont win pure and simple!! Madison is right in what he says on here! Its parents coaches.. that is putting this sport under!

Duh, you are probably one of the parents who kid does not play. One big sour puss hater. Why don't you be supportive of the kids. Apparently all the players and cloches were on the same page this week.

Don't minimize the result of what they accomplished.

It was a win more then likely the only one they get since conferance starts so a good one for them it is still coaching and that is that, and it is not always the parents of kids that dont play its parents that set in the stands year after year and week after week and see what goes on on the field ond off!!

It never fails. Somebody says something positive and it's followed by a negative. A win is a win. The kids played hard and came away with a victory. They played hard last week. They just played a damn good team that beat Brownstown 41-3. Nobody plays to lose.
