Jeff Daghir, go away, leave town, I'm sick of seeing you run for public office. Any office, every office, you are not qualified. You are only of use because you are a sure defeat on the republican ticket. It is clear you have no qualifications and are only seeking to be elected because you are lazy and want to secure a salary for doing nothing. Couldn't you find a better picture to use in your campaign? You look like a douche with that grin.

I'm beginning to think Daghir is just a tool of the good ol' boys. They insert him in any race where they want the democrat to win. Democrat, republican, it doesn't matter too much in city or county races, it comes down to the person they want in office. He's either an unwitting fool or getting paid to have the appearance of a fool. He's so money hungry, I'm sure getting paid to show up and look stupid isn't beneath him.

Daghir is a better choice for sure for the office of surveyor. Get rid of the old fart who has been punished by the state and has the county so screwed up. He hardly shows up for county work now and prefers to focus on his own private business instead of taking care of county business for the taxpayers.

Have you not bothered to read the facts presented above? Read the court documents, specifically the one dated 4/30/2009. The court found Pettitt to be professionally incompetent to conduct surveys on numerous counts. His license was on probation for most of the years he has held office. One of the counts stated he failed to fully disclose pertinent monuments identified... character, size, location, etc... How can Pettitt be trusted to properly maintain the counties cornerstones?? Maintaining the cornerstones is the main responsibility of the surveyor. You don't have to be a licensed surveyor to properly do that job. You do have to be competent, however.

I find it funny that you obviously know nothing about Mr. Daghir. Hopeless? Homeless? Alcoholic? Are we even speaking of the same individual? He is an extremely intelligent, HONEST person with an engineering degree, high ethics and more than enough competency to be the next Jefferson County Surveyor.
