why whine? wisconsin can't legally do a budget change without a quorum in the Senate. if somebody (fouls) up and shows up and they vote, labor then marches to the courts and takes the state to court, violating labor laws. and goes to the NLRB.

same thing elsewhere. we have Federal laws, too.

kick 'em in the shins until you can kick 'em in the forehead. that's what labor needs to do to defeat this pet project of the Koch brothers, funders of the Tea Party.

Get rid of the public union. They are nothing but a deemed failure to modern society, and a failure towards innovation and creativity.

No matter the outcome - the Unions have already lost.

They lack public support, thier membership nationawide is less than 7% of the population, members don't want to pay bosses.

The public is sick of your whining. Those of you crying the loudest are the ones that feel entitled, unlike those that are continuing to do what they were hired to do. Too many ACSME, SEIU types become union activist only to the detriment of thier job performance.

Return to work WI Democrats - you already lost.

Fire half of them right now. The other half will piss their pants and probably put in a full day's work, making up for the other half that were fired. Now that's workforce motivation!

They get paid by actualy taking money out of my bank acount. They get paid by actualy taking money out the bank acounts of people who have the same exact job as them but are in the private sector and make less. They are lazy greedy pig thieves and they all have to know it. They simply suck on the governments tit. We see you.

10-12,000 state employees have their necks on the chopping block right now.

Is it worth it Dems? Do you think that you can hire them all back once you regain some power in the state legislature? Are you willing to fight that PR battle? I doubt it.

Next up...voter ID, then...conceal carry. Please Dems, stay away!

sounds like the these two writers are in a public employee union themselves...they are trying to hide the fact that the unions don't have the public support and the tea party has nothing to do with this. it is the common working person sick and tired of watching our pay and benfits dwindle while the unions scream for more of our money. i'm not buying "it's for the kids" when they are looking to pass a levy to fill there coffers. shame on you people

As the atricle clearly states, there is no way for labor to spin this one into a win.

Congratulations to the citizens of Wisconsin.

Sure there is, because the Feds will help out the State! Obama is on the side of the unions.

In Forest Lake MN the school district and teachers union said they were going to be 8 million dollars short for the upcoming budgets and would have to make extreme unbearable cuts that would trash our kids future. Well, after election day passed and me and the rest of the voters smashed they're property tax increase proposal into oblivion. They actualy came out with the true facts and they simply had to only cut not even 1 million dollars. Is that not attemted fraud? Can you even comprehend how this is even slightly tolerated? We see you.

If I had children in public schools I would start a movement not to let union teachers back into the schools, as everyone is aware of union activists have a history of striking back at percieved wrongs, the snowstorm in new york where union plow drivers called in sick or slowed down plowing it eneded up with people dying because emergency vehicles couldnt get thru, all because of some union dispute with the city, what will be the reprecusions by union teachers, its your kids in front of them every day, be verry vigilant.

Obama is who has made this all possible. Had he not jammed through his healthcare disaster and ignited the voters, the GOP would have never had all 3 houses in WI. I guess short term pain can really be for long term gain. Obama just might be the one who sinks the democrats for generations.
