Very interested in an used auto for sale at Mad City Sales. Have looked them up on the BBB, but can't find any consumer reviews of working with them. They have some, what appear to be, exceptional vehicles.

Anybody have experience with them in the past?

I bought a car from them in June, a 2004 Honda Civic. Since June i have had to replace the battery, carpeting because of excessive wear under neath the floor mats, rotors, clutch, etc.(I know there is more) and yesterday I found out i need a new transmission. A friend of mine recently purchased a car from there as well, the day she bought it she brought it to Nissan to get it checked out and they found over 800.00 in repairs that Mad City had marked on the window stick as in "good" condition. They are a joke! If you buy a car from here, have it looked at by a third party, not only that but be prepared to have to fill up the gas tank and get it detailed.;

Bought a used prius there in '07 and it runs like a top ;) was about 2k cheaper than a comparable deal at the dealer as well. Was just looking for their site to see if they had any hybrid escapes or vues. I had a very different experience than Danielle.

Dannielle, I am glad we were able to work through the bad experience... Thank you very much for your recent purchase and I hope you love your new 2006 Toyota! Pat

You can go to Yahoo local to see some good and bad reviews. Auto repair is a $180B annual industry because cars all break. The first thing people do is blame the dealer. I always tell people when they buy a car it WILL break and when is the unknown. If I had a crystal ball I'd be sports betting and out of the car biz!! Anyway, thank for you interest in my cars and thank to all of the folks who took the time to write a good review. Good reviews are hard to come by as it seems only the folks mad at you seem to want to burn you at the stake! Have a great day and God bless!

I purchased a 2001 Tahoe from Mad City. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The vehicle was clean, in good shape and about $4500 under blue book value. They got me a loan when others couldn't, and at a great interest rate too! When I took it home, I realized the 4x4 wasn't working, and I immediately called them. The very next day they had the part in and put it in for free. Cars break, no matter where they come from. The service was excellent, and aside from the 4x4 problem, I have had nothing else other than standard maintenance issues in the 50,000 miles I have added. My roommate also bought a Trailblazer from these guys. He delivers pizzas and has put 60,000 miles on it with no issues at all! I will be back when it's time for a new one, and i recommend this place to everyone!

I attempted to buy a car from here and received the WORST customer service I have ever seen. They showed me one crappy car and expected me to give them money down to run my credit report. No one had any interest in helping me find the car I wanted and they were EXTREMELY rude. Latecia hung up the phone on me after I said I was not satisfied enough to buy a car from her. The manager did not care how rude and unhelpful his staff was. I hope everyone see's this and does not waste their time at Mad City Sales. I was told I could receive no obligation to buy help and was pushed and pushed until I finally said I knew I was being ripped off they knowingly over price every vehicle they sell. Check craigslist, you'll find way better deals and get to skip out on the rude unhelpful people at Mad City Sales

These are terrible people not as bad as schoepp maybe more like goben cars. I was roped into purchasing this car. Let me explain a little more I would say its more like taking advantage of the situation. I went there as a recommendation from a former friend so I went there and they seemed to be different than the rest. So they told me things like no one else will help you and to stop and they would see what they could do so they could only put me into a broken car that was in need of repair. Now I was at the time using my vehicle for delivery so I'm kinda freaking out at the time but he assured me that it would be fine and wouldn't break down. Well he was right but I still have repaired nothing on the vehicle and things have gotten worse in the 5 months that I have had it. they stickered the car at 6995 which was 3500 over blue book then discounted it half and took my 800 down and brought the price to 2400 but with tax title and license it came to 2800 which was 400 over blue book and had only repaired the front brake pads and a plate bulb. now I found a car that I'm really interested in and IM 1000 dollars upside down. it's BS. they expect me to trade it in like normal now how the hell would I accomplish that? I can't. so don't go to these guys they will rip you off with over priced vehicles that you could buy the same for the price of a new one. peace!

There were several things that upset me about the service they provided. Very little of it could even be considered satisfactory. We were hurried through the purchase of the vehicle even though we spent three hours closing the deal. I would suggest clearing your schedule for an entire day if you consider shopping with them. The Sales person works with too many people at one time to be attentive enough to one persons needs. We told them we needed a vehicle to fit our family of six yet we were shown several vehicles that were'nt what we asked. We had to remind them several times. We finally settled on a vehicle and asked for the carfax. We were told the printer was down but they ensured we would have it. I have a hard time believing they have only one printer to work off of. After several phone calls and threats of poor reviews we finally recieved the carfax six weeks later. It was for a vehicle we didn't even purchase. They then sent us the right one. We were told the vehicle never had any issues yet the carfax told otherwise. Dissappointing! Harrassment is certainly not a concern to them. They will call several times a day at all hours to acquire trivial information to finish their paperwork. Also, you can expect to have to explain and appologize to your ten references why they are recieving mail and phone calls constantly begging for their bussiness. Annoying! After researching recently we have found several poor reviews on them on several websites including Facebook, Google, The Better Bussiness Bureau of WI, and the Department of Consumer Protection. Not only will I never recommend them, I will also strongly advise those who consider this place to rethink before making a horrible mistake. P.S. The car was never cleaned and detaied before given to us and you will be lucky to recieve a quarter tank of gas!!!!!
