A menace to every citizen in Tupelo and the noise repels the middle class life style. Why do we have planes and helicopters buzzing our town? Why would anyone that can afford a house want to live under a rain of aircraft terror?

Wow, melodramatic much? I love how fools move next to an airport and then complain about the noise. How about, you have a successful local business parting out old aircraft that contributes to your local economy.

Less than average wage and the profits go out of town as the taxpayer picks up the tab for the destruction. No a improvement in the quality of life for our citizens. No place in Tupelo is free from the airport noise. Then the city is using taxpayer money to build on west Jackson not a good idea to attract the middle class.

Where in the world did you get that idea? The scrapper bought the airframe from the airline and the parts that can be are sold as spares for profit. The rest is sold for scrap aluminum. The government isn't involved here.

Why does Tupelo even need a airport? The crop duster than flys to Atlanta daily can't sell enough tickets to pay for fuel. The airport might as well be a salvage yard anyways. I say bring in more planes to salvage.

Why do you even need an airport here-despite what some think Tupelo is the Los Angeles of MS, its not.

The taxpayer has provided and paid for all the facilities that are used for a private company to profit. Without the government handouts they would not be in business not to mention the federal tax breaks.

The other crop duster was on the airport board and wrote himself a sweetheart deal which the taxpayer subsidizes. The national guard also fleeced the Tupelo tax payer as well as using the airport to harass the residents of the town as they fly below the legal limit but no enforcement of the law.

Perhaps you have the cell phone glued to your head but some people are not amused by the interruption of the community peace.

You are stupider. Tupelo is being fleeced by the CDF who should be subsidizing the airport instead of the taxpayers. The jet junk yard has been a thorn in the side of the mayor since he was told what to do by the owner of the junk jet company. She does not live in Tupelo and has burned all her bridges in Tupelo and every where else. CDF recruited the jet junk to Tupelo and paid for the dead trees that were planted to hide the junk. The Tupelo airport will never serve the public and is nothing but a burden to the debt of Tupelo that must be paid by taxes. CDF is now overseeing the construction project down on main. Where did the great knowledge and no experience come to CDF? Pokemon to you too.
