Patti LaBelle is one of the most out-standing performer I have ever seen on television. Patti LaBelle is such an inspiration to me. LaBelle, Luther and Anita Baker or the people that I enjoyed listening, learning and experiencing some of the things they song about at the age of 16 years of age and I am now 38 years old.

I just want to say, Pattie LaBelle you have nothing to be emparrassed about, you tried and that's all you can do is try and if your fans (true fans)can't understand and see or feel that, than it's not your vault. Maybe God is trying to tell you something in so many words and you are not listening or you chose to ignore. You have been through so much heartaches and pain, and yet you are still living day by day. The things you have gone through and may still be going through, would be impossible for others to do. I admire you for who and what you have accomplished in your life.

Patti LaBelle, Please know that God loves you and so do I and know that God would not put no more on you than you can bare and I'm a living witness different situation, and yet we are still able to see another day. Enjoy life while you have a chance and keep your head up. Easier said than done, I'm sure. Don't ever be embarrassed about anything. We are all human and we have our good days and bads one.

From Me To You/ Stay Blessed and Highly Favored!!!!

To The Anointed Singer, Patti Labelle. I watched you on Oprah's Legend Ball and my inside shook from the Spirit of God as a watched you sing under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. God is not through with you yet. He has something GREAT in store for others through your voice. You were born to do what you do. I have a friend who is a sister singer of whom God gave almost the identical voice as he gave to you. Her name is Carolyn Traylor. She is a Gospel Singer. You keep letting God use you. Remember this, God will not forget your labour of LOVE. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall Direct your path.

Hi Ms Patti, Saw you on the Legends Gala and as always you were fierce , just like your pumps. I have followed you and your music for over 30 years. Recently my wife and I and entire family lost everything we had in the flooding after hurricane katrina. I have always loved your music, your energy, honesty and integrity as a human being, but since the storm your music has lifted my spirits even more than you will ever know. When I saw you being honored at the Legends Ball it brought tears to my eyes. You are just so real, wish we had more like you. I have never seen you live in concert but, it's ny dream to one day meet you and hear you just sing. Yes, GOD has more in store for you. Keep living, keep giving and keep on soaring.Thank you for your music during such a difficult time .

Hey guys, I'm currently a student working on my PHD in Vocal Pedagogy, and I just wanted to add a few things.

The voice is a very fragile instrument and must be treated so. What has happened is Patti forgotten how to approach the tone. As she has gotten older, her range has lowered, this is common, however, because of here lowered voice she has "over powered" her Chest Voice and neglected mixing her voice. Mixing this key.

In my opinion Patti Labelle is the greatest singer/performer of all time, this is from a Doctorate stand point. I also believe that she can still continue to be "THAT" until the end of her days. Take my sugesstions.

Approach the tone from the top... Always. If you listen to older Patti, she had a very nasal sound that was narrow as she approached her top... That was here saving graces, when she started to open those top notes thats when the damage started to take place.

David Foster....
Patti Labelle, find David Foster and you two make a record together. TRUST HIM!!! he may say a few things that you may not like or disagree with but trust me, he will take the 'unsurpassable' Patti Labelle to knew heights.

We love you!!
The greatest singer doesn't have to have a pretty voice. You mastery of dynamics, line and emotions surpass any other artists understanding of it. So whether your belting a high C or just an A, the WAY you sing it is more important than WHAT NOTE your singing.

Hi Patti
I am a diabetic also with several other complications. One of which I had two TIAs in August and September 2006. My records were sent to University of Va Medical Center in Charlotteville, V approximately 5 weeks ago,A disgnosis was confirmed that I have a blockage in the left side of the head sending blood to the brain. I am still waiting for treatment. It is now after eleven o'clock PM and I feel alone and helpless in this situation. Today I had to get two shots in my knees that will surly raise my blood sugar. I don't know why I am telling you this, but I pray every night for you, myself and my family. God Bless You. I did see you in Dover Delaware. You are my inspiaration and you give me the courage to keep on praying and fighting. We Love You.

Ms. Patti,
My Mom, Teacher, Role model, and Friend. You are an INSPIRATION to all who hear and know you. You are truly sent, lead and is yet being lead by GOD. There is none like you nowhere. There was and is a good reason why you are yet here on earth and that is to do just what you are doing, LIVING, LOVING, HELPING AND SINGING YOUR WONDERFUL HEART OUT. How wonderful life Patti, oh while your in the world.
When you sing you make me smile, cry, think and you give me a GREAT deal of hope that makes me want to try a little harder and go a little further. I thank you for saving my life in the midst of me losing my mother this year(Jan. 2006). It has been VERY HARD to handle. I have adopted you as my Mom for so many reasons.
You Patti has taught me how to love myself and others, You resemble my mother (your EYES, MOUTH, SOME OF YOUR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL SKIN TONE). A Good example: Look at your picture when you were in your friend Norma's kitchen "Stirin it up".(It's in your LaBelle Cuisine Cookbook), the two of you could go as close family. My mom had you by four years.
You, You, You,
You are my friend
I never knew it till then
My Friend
I feel your love when you not near
I say
It helps me make, knowing people like you care.
Much love, hugs, kisses and prayers

I think Patti still has it, everyone has their good days and bad days! The bottom line is that Patti is a diva and her new album "The Gospel According to Patti Labelle" is nothing short of fantastic! From Kanye West to Mary Marry to Yolanda Adams, I was impressed and my friends who work at UMGD seem to think the same thing! If anyone wants to research Patti's tour or album, you should definitely visit ( )
