"All of that stuff you posted above is propaganda."

It is research by professionals in the medical field. I could care less if you ruin your health but do not expect insurance or government to pay the tab. For you or your children.

When you expect government security you get government control. The government or drugs are not solutions to your life problems.

Stop regulation and government handouts then let the public make themselves sick.

Do not provide medical help to those that are to ignorant to care for themselves.

I would be happy if it was. It won't ever happen though. I mean this is Mississippi, one of the worst states in America.

Man did without it so why now, when you are living longer and have to pay for bad habits with your health insurances costs?

It costs mare in the long run and is not necessary for a quality life. It dulls your ability to recognize problems.

Because of the lower blood pressure and higher heart rate, researchers found that users' risk for a heart attack is four times higher within the first hour after smoking marijuana, compared to their general risk of heart attack when not smoking.

Effects on the Lungs
Smoking marijuana, even infrequently, can cause burning and stinging of the mouth and throat, and cause heavy coughing. Scientists have found that regular marijuana smokers can experience the same respiratory problems as tobacco smokers do, including:
•Daily cough and phlegm production
•More frequent acute chest illnesses
•Increased risk of lung infections
•Obstructed airways
Most marijuana smokers consume a lot less cannabis than cigarette smokers consume tobacco, however the harmful effects of smoking marijuana should not be ignored. Marijuana contains more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke and because marijuana smokers typically inhale deeper and hold the smoke in their lungs longer than tobacco smokers, their lungs are exposed to those carcinogenic properties longer, when smoking.
Research indicates that THC impairs the body's immune system from fighting disease, which can cause a wide variety of health problems. One study found that marijuana actually inhibited the disease-preventing actions of key immune cells. Another study found that THC increased the risk of developing bacterial infections and tumors.

Effects of Exposure During Pregnancy
Several studies have found that children born to mothers who used marijuana during pregnancy exhibit some problems with neurological development. According to those studies, prenatal marijuana exposure can cause:

•Altered responses to visual stimuli
•Increased tremulousness
•Problems with sustained attention and memory
•Poor problem-solving skills

Weed needs to be legalized in Vicksburg, Mississippi!!! It calms people down when they are stressed. It helps with anxiety I know, because I have anxiety really bad after I smoke a joint it calms me down it doesn't feel like I'm dying anymore. I agree you shouldn't use the substance while working or on the job, but after a hard day of work "stressed day" it isn't so bad to go home behind closed doors and roll fat one.! But Mississippi is fucked up because you can't even do it in the privacy of your own home or your going to jail!!!! That's what happened to me!! I didn't even have a blunt and I still went to jail on my first offense!!!! Got my kids taken away and everything my life got flip upside down for a blunt!!! We need to leaglize that shit so it don't happen to anyone else!!! We need to get together and LEAGLIZE WEED!!!! MISSISSIPPI

A group of us are currently in the process of drafting an ballot initiative for legal marijuana and industrial hemp. Even if people wanted legal medical marijuana instead, the revenue won't be as great. There's no state money to be gained in purely medical. And if anything will sway our current lawmakers, it's the 15-20% excise tax that will flow into the state's coffers from every product made from industrial hemp and recreational sales.

How about focusing on the cause of the stress rather than masking the symptoms. Drugs will not solve the problems that caused your stress. Who is going to pay for your health care abusing your body. If you make it legal it becomes your neighbors problem. How about just not making it against the law and remove all government aid to people. That way you life is your responsibility not the government's.

The government should not tax your vise it should remove its medical services so the public does not have to pay for your behavior. Let individuals be free to kill themselves without getting the government involved in saving them. It is a waste of public money to arrest you and save your health.

Most of what the government tells you is to make you a consumer/worker. If you have a problem find out the source of the problem not take drugs to mask the problem.

Most ADHD is poor parenting not something that needs drugs. The fact that humans are not rats to be rewarded with money to buy happiness should be the first thing parents teach their children. Schools reinforce the Skinner/Pavlov training with grades and expect them to be controlled when they go into the work force. Then drug themselves to treat the stress of not living a natural human life.

Marijuana should be sold & regulated just like alcohol. It's a plant just like tobacco..
