What gives with NMMC? Possibly paying their taxes.

The hospital has gotten a free ride on taxes in return for their charity work.
The Affordable Care Act might bring some close scrutiny on many hospital's tax free status while discounting the fees charged for services.
It's a shame that the people of Northeast Mississippi have for so many years been bamboozled out of their money when treated at the hospital and again when they paid tax rates pumped up to cover for the hospital getting a free ride.
Could the fear of losing the free ride on taxes be the cause for current executive stress there?

Health care is all about money not helping humans. It is best to have the individual responsible for their health and teach it in school. We do not need to have 20% of the gross product going to a government run system of corruption.
