Dec 1, 2013 Full story: The Clarion-Ledger 16

The problem is poor health is a choice for many in Mississippi. The major cost is a lifestyle many practice that does not care about the rest of the public.

Insurance is a license to not be responsible for your own health.

Let people suffer that have bad habits let them smoke, drink, and drug themselves to death without having put the burden on those that care for their health.
Why should the public pay for the poor sex habits and people that have children they can not afford? Especially when the world is over populated and killing it self by using resources that are finite and a lifestyle that is not sustainable?

Insurance is nothing more than gambling as the insurance charges 20% more than what it pays out. The more people going to the doctor the more insurance will be. If you sign up sick people the rest have to pay for them. Medical equipment can keep you alive much longer hooked to machines. The cost can be $100,000 a month the fact is people do not have the money to keep everyone alive as long as possible.
Farmers are exposed to toxic chemicals and will have higher health cost than many other people. People that smoke drink or take drugs put the cost on people that practice good health habits. Mississippi especially is high health costs because people are fat and have bad diets. MS will pay much more than healthy states.

U.S. prosecutors have charged 49 current and former Russian diplomats and their family members with participating in a scheme to get health benefits intended for the poor by lying about their income.

Each of the 49 people was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud and one count of conspiracy to steal government funds and make false statements relating to healthcare matters, according to the charges.

Just think how many people that work off the books do the same thing.

Waste of time. You won't see one person arrested, nor one dime recovered.

Is that why everybody I personally know who's insurance was cancelled, has their new rates skyrocketing after your liar in chief said they could keep their plans?

Yes, it's costing millions of people more money. Turn off your liberal propaganda crap and wake up to reality. Sheesh....

Monsanto contributes more to bad health with GM Frankenfood than tobacco, alcohol, & other drugs combined. Fat, wobbly people at walmart buying junk GM food .... These folks don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, yet are eating themselves to an early grave. These are doctors' biggest customers, literally and numerically. And they complacently vote for obummer & other libs who don't give a hoot for your wellbeing.

Problem is the so called ACA is only throwing money at the problem-high cost of care and insurance. It is not addressing the cost issues. You can throw money at the problem until you are blue in the face which literally might happen until you FIX the problem.

And who do you think is going to pay for those higher bills handed to the corporations? Those companies that can offset their cost by raising prices will and those that can't will just pay the penalty.

obama care is a good thing, turn off fox news. do not listen to the republican weekly radio adress.$100,000 per month to keep the prongs pluged in? did you get that data from the "cat in the hat" story book? the state would have never been able to afford that to begin with, your preaching to a bunch of hogwash. we pay taxes on our beer, cigs, and strip bar visits, that should cover our medical cost (prepaid medical card). i see you have not read the affordable care act bill because you do not understand it, your just preaching what the news media is trying to make everyone believe (fox news).

under the obama care act: cheap paying employers will have to offer health insurance at an affordable cost, temp employment agencies(driving down workers wages) will go out of business,
no pre existing conditions, no cancels or kicked off policy because your too sick, health insurers must spend 80% of premiums on your health cost. how could obama care not be a great thing? an affordable insurance card for everyone paid for by the corporations.
