Drove by White Pines Oneida Nation subdivision the other day, where the average Nation family lives. Couldn't help but wonder... do you think Halbritter lives there? Just saying....land into trust for who? Ray's warchest?

How gullible was Picente to think he was representing the best interests of ANYONE OTHER THAN RAY HALBRITTER... and HIMSELF!

Relative to Roann... a 1 million dollar a year sole-source sweetheart contract to the Destito brothers, without her fingerprints on it! Shear genius, but if you think that doesn't factor in, you are truly gullible. Government abuse of power at it's worst.

I am reminded of the Abramoff scandal some years back, during the Boehlert days, when Abramoff admitted to distributing 30 million dollars of lobby money from an "upstate NY Indian Nation". Hmmmm, how many Indian Nations in upstate NY could afford that?

This person is anti-gun he feels that only trained law enforcement personal should have firearms,

2. Does the Oneida Indian Nation support the following gun control proposals: mandatory firearms storage, mandatory firearms microstamping and banning common ammunition used for self-defense?

3. Does Robert Maciol support mandatory firearms storage, mandatory firearms microstamping and banning common ammunition used for self-defense?

4. If elected, will Robert Maciol work to support Mayor Michael Bloomberg's antigun agenda as one of the mailers asserts?

Maciol seemed a good choice until I see the casino people supporting him in the mailers. They backroom deal with destito so I associate Maciol with that bunch and there goes my vote.

Do not be distracted by Townsend's battle with the Nation, it has no place in this election Townsend is using it against Maciol because it is all he has. Research - Think - Vote - then whatever you vote will be the right choice.
"The Nation" has waged an all out negative campaign of hate, self serving exaggeration, half truths, misinformation and innuendo. Thanks for the sage advise. I am not at all distracted by junk mail. Dave Townsend is clearly my choice for sheriff. No contest. No distraction. Thanks for proving my point.:-)

Well if you "heard" it, then it must be true. LOL I "rent" some commercial property. The building owners can't pay property taxes without my funding. Understand? Never mind... This thread is for the grown ups. Off you go now...

Something fishy about Townsend leaving the State Assembly to become Sheriff. Power hungry or pension padding?

Nowhere near as fishy as a cop who is less than competant being supported by the OIN. That is no different than if any company spent thousands on a politician they haven't got much to do with. Especially since the casinos stock in trade is gambling alcohol and cigarettes. They are poison venders acting as if their success on an unlevel playing field entitles them to accolades and praise as community saviors. They took care of the Alcohol with Roanne now they need to protect thier cigarette intersts with Maciol and his proven cruddy attitude issues and abysimal history with budgets and keeping taxes down.
Anyone who looks at Maciols history and track record and dumb proposals will tell you you make no sense!

Rob says he can do noting to stop the Indians from spending all that money on him. Not right now sure, but you have to stand against corruption when you are the head of law enforcement of the county. YOU HAVE TO PROMISE TO GO AFTER THEM IF ELECTED!! He sees nothing wrong since they are supporting him so I will vote for Townsend.

So vote for the other guy and watch your taxpayer dollars go to provide support for the Oneida Indian Nation. Yeah, that's smart.... NOT.
