The March 19th election will bring positive changes to the village. All spending, programs, projects, equipment, supplies, inventory and employees will be carefully reviewed by the new village board. Changes will be made with transparency for all to see. Elected officials, employees and volunteers will work together to restore Sylvan Beach to prominence. Vote for experience, accountability and fairness.

I live in the beach, and am happy with the way things are. The roads get plowed, we have new sidewalks that were paid for by the state. The area is right on track, we don't need change from outsiders. Vote Eddie, and show the village idiots we don't need outside change. Unite Sylvan Beach, Vote SAME! The others are corrupt and looking to exploit sylvan beach, we might lose our seasonal jobs to large corporations. Keep everything local. VOTE For those that are currently elected.

Yes, vote Eddie who is not even a candidate! You are living in the past old fellow. Enjoy life at the old folks home on Main St.

You will see, you idiot. Eddie got the gas station in instead of a ugly campground full of welfare people to suck Sylvan Beach dry.

I appreciate Top Advisor giving us Dave's agenda; I believe the post. I did notice though that all of the positive changes he talks about seem bureaucratic in nature. Bean counting is important but you should be doing something that directly benefits regular people. Thank you for being honest but we want to go in a different direction.

Dave has connections, once he gains your trust, and gets elected for another year, he will be back to the same old person. Great for a year, but back to a politicization. He is only good for 1 year. 2 years is to much .. I'm confused on who to vote for now. I live in the trailer park, and only want only want to make sure Joe doesn't loose his position. I have family that works for the village. do you understand my concern. I want no change.

But I don't want to have my family lose their jobs. I know what good for the town but in the long run whats good for me. Joe has always been by my side in thought.

I dont follow the election stuff real close, but I have a few questions. Like some of what I hear, some stuff hard to believe and some begs questions. I got the flyer from the "All About Accountablility" party and I like that concept, I hear about the transparency and agree 100%. Of course like I said I don't follow too close so I hope transparency and accountability are REALLY an issue and not just political buzz words. I would love to see a demonstration from AAA right here right now so I can know what to expect. First, I am told the village has some accounting software that cost like $20,000 on which all costs are entered and you can get like 50 different kinds of reports. So in an effort to be transparent, where exactly are we getting cheated on accountability? Second question, I see the AAA flyer, seen the paid ads in the paper, etc. Exactly how much money was spent on the AAA campaign and what would be the reasoning to spend more on a camplaign than the mayors pay is in a year? I am hoping other investments on our behalf will have a better return. I also heard Mr Townsin flew back for the weekend just for the election, add that cost as well. And he did not bring his truck back, does this mean he is flying back soon? I like AAA emphasis on accountability and especially transperancy, to get my vote I need to be convinced it is real and not just a politician trick. Also, can you tell us what you meant by occupying the bank? Little confused.

Still don't see any answers yet. What about a newsletter or blog or something? And how about a website? Can we get a website for Sylvan and Verona Beach?
