"Violators are those who don’t use such accommodations, instead urinating or defecating in any public place, "any private property into or upon which the public is admitted by easement or license" or "any private property without consent of the owner."

If it happens that someone does the deed described above, it then counts as a separate violation "to fail to clean or remove the material deposited immediately, or to fail to dispose immediately of the material used in the cleaning or removal process in a container designed for such disposal."

-so let me get this straight, if some anti-nuke protester pees on the ground that's a $300 fine, and if they fail to Remediate* the urination by ?!REMOVAL?! then they get another $300 fine?
Are they supposed to go get a shovel and dig up and remove the dirt whee they peed? Would a property owner want their lawn dug up like that?

*term often used in Nukedom which includes the cleaning up and removal of soil contaminated with radioactive material

If the protester happened to consume some of that tritium contaminated water from the Vernon school's water cooler then won't that mean that the federal NRC would have to get involved in the remediation?

What about some laws against pissing away billions of taxpayer $$ in the form of Corporate Welfare for evil Nukedom co.s like Entergy and reactor (dirty bomb) makers like GE etc.?

yes but the article says they passed the ordinance cuz some anti-dirtybomb protesters supposedly went wee-wee on property by the dirtybomb
They're worried about harmless pee on the ground while radioactive crap like Strontium 90 etc. and more is released into the ground right across the street from a kids school

So it's ok that the town and VY can pee on you but you can't show them your appreciation to them or is radiation laded urine a bad thing. Oh well piss on this while Montpelier can dump on us?

This whole topic is brought on when VY didn't plant enough trees and bushes instead they put up a fence. This concept has confused the protesters and they think peeing on a wood fence is not the same as a chain link there fore others can see what your doing. Changing the fence would have been cheaper and better than enforcing the Mensa crowd. Excuse me could you hold my sign while I pee or I'll hold yours while you whip it out for me and does anyone have a Kleenex I could borrow?

We are planning a protest against Vernon's ban on urinating or defecating. Everyone is welcomed to come to Northampton, Mass and take big crap on my lawn.

So to pee in the woods = illegal a $300 fine

but

recklessly dump several million gallons of radioactive waste on the banks of the Connecticut river = perfectly legal, no fine whatsoever, not a penny

Way to go Vernon
