Silly person, don't you know that Ms. Haas is a well known author of children's fiction books? Her qualifications are that she writes for children and she is an expert in creating fiction.
Silly VTEP lobbyist for Entergy to the Topix community 'I Vote Vermont Yankee', you of all ppl should know no one needs any credentials to write a letter to the editor, or op-ed, since your best buds, VTEPs Entergy lobbyists Page & Ferland write their acres of op-eds aka Entergy propaganda to the media ad nauseum & they sure don't know shite as their erroneous & inaccurate ridiculous rubbish proves.

Mea culpa. She still doesn't get it.

I guess I overestimated her intelligence.

Jessie Haas, I disagree in whole with your opinions of Gerry Silverstein's op-ed. If you
re-read your submission, you'll find a tone even you may not care for. I expect more from a Wellesley College graduate and published author. You did graduate, didn't you?

You should have had your husband, Michael Daley, proofread this before it went into print. I'd suggest you both expand your depths with a writer's workshop. I believe you are both capable of writing beyond your childhood fascinations, you with your first horse, and your husband with the moon landing.

You may also want to consider that most people are not interested in building their own shed-sized cabin in the woods, let alone live in it. Most people want to enjoy a lifestyle that is not limited by the power provided by a few solar panels. No indoor plumbing? Well, we don't even want to go there.

In your defense Jessie, as you dwell in your dimly lit home without modern labor-saving devices and daily expose your hind-end to winter's cold; in this case dear woman, you are not a hypocrite.

My, my how you do go on & on w/your ridiculous rant, and I disagree w/your opinions, "in whole", as they are completely w/o any merit whatsoever.

Completely absurd op-ed by Mr. Silverstein an affront to the intelligence of an average person. The fact that he is a university level instructor who teaches medical school is as laughable as it is disturbing.

Merely another member of the pronuclear claque who have descended upon these forums to deliver invectives & subtle vitriole ad nauseum.

Especially noteworthy are the Entergy employees, & goons such as yourself, including none other than John Wheeler of Entergy corporate, who take time out of your busy day to flood local newspaper Topix threads attacking those w/dissenting opinions en masse. Aren't you brave! Does Entergy pay bonuses based on your shilling & insulting VT residents who simply do not want or need Entergy or Yankee?

Please. We have a right to make these decisions w/o continual harassing & haranguing by Entergy stooges.

Mere ad hominem, a fallacious argument as well as personal attack employed when attacker unable to discuss or invalidate the point of their target on its merits.

Please re-read *your* comment sir. You will find your motives & intellectual dishonesty are sheer, entire comment a mere rant & personal attack.

Though you make considerable effort to to cloak it other wise by attempt to sound intelligent, you as well as Mr. Silverstein both end up proving yourselves to be the educated fools you are, and have failed, miserably.
I told you
