Well, there is good news and there is bad news. The bad news is that they have been looking for two months for a leak in a pipe that was putting tritium into the groundwater. They found three leaks, two clogs and a hole the size of a dime. But they did not find the leak putting the tritium into the groundwater. So it must be one of the however many other leaks they have not found yet. And all this time, they continue to operate, and continue to put radioactive junk into the water.
The good news is that we finally have a proven fact. The NRC says the plant is safe, which proves beyond doubt that the U.S. government is incompetent to run a nuclear industry.
