Mary Hooker Environmental Studies Magnet School witnesses large numbers of crows usually in late Fall in the woods of our Nature Trail. We have seen a decrease in the numbers filling the trees.(The filled trees remind us of Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Birds" as we walk out to our cars at night to go home.)
The virus has taken it's toll but we also suspect that some of the decrease may have been related to the occasional appearance of a Peregrine Falcon who has made its presence known in our woods..
