It was recently brought to my attention that there is a town employee who works on the roads department who tested positive for illegal substances and nothing was done about it and/or will be done about it. In fact his "suspension" was recanted and the couple days he was not at work awaiting a hearing were paid to him and not out of his own time off bank but the town (our tax dollars) accounts. Apparently someone in the town officials area found a loop hole that kept him his job with no recourse, the fact he did not have his CDL license and only a permit was the loop hole that was found. Is this the precedence our town officials are setting on drug abuse and addiction, to allow someone to operate extremely expensive equipment on our dollar?
