I heard script writing was removed from the curriculum of the young children today. Is it true? Why? Please tell me I was told a joke by youngsters. I am up to date with technology obviously by my post but if this removal is true I fear for my grandchildren and so forth.

Haven't heard, but will be sure to ask around. That will be a sorry thing to happen. Just an observation though...how can today's teachers teach penmanship when their handwriting is so atrocious! Years ago our teachers had impeccable handwriting and were able to teach it.

It will be a sad day when our descendants can't easily read wonderful old letters they might find in an attic. Or even The Declaration Of Independence! If you were not taught handwriting it must look like a foreign language! How would they sign their names on a check?
