Mayor: Hamburg officers not qualified for police chief post

The mayor is doing the right thing in thing case. Other options could be to disbanned or consolidate departments. Boys club mentality will never be a positive thing for the police. As far as letters from outsiders such as Paul Dittmar, he would be the first one applying for the job if it was offered to him. This is a man who started a private patrol agency called "Rangers" whos members are all retired law enforcement.
The Chiefs assoc will never be in agreement based on the simple fact the more directors, the less members in their club

The boys club is out of control in many respects...we need police reform in this country. Get rid of the unions and make all heads of Dept, civilian.
