I'm a Republican and I used to vote for Kaptur, but she has taken the position of the extremes in her party, like Micheal Moore. She voted for a health care bill than she didn't read. She has spent alot and the state is still in horrible condition along with Strickland they need to go. She sounds like she doesn't even know what's going on when you listen to the debates they have had, she still think Bush is president or she is still blaming him like he is. She must have forgotten that we had a 4.8% unemployment rate before the Democrats took control of the house and senate and then it went up to 9.3% or somewhere around there when Bush left now it is in the 10% after almost 2 years of the Obama administration. When are Democrats going to be accountable, especially Strickland and Kaptur, and worse yet Obama.

It is time for Kaptur to retire. She has had 28 years and look what the Toledo area is like today. Are we better off than we where 28 years ago?I don't think so.

over the past few years every thing has diminished. Plus a vote for kuptur is a vote for the left wing loons

Iott has no education, less than 2 years of college, you want someone like this representing you? I thought you people were smart?

A vote for Iott is a vote for John Boehner - this shouldn't happen in America.

Bill gates is also a college drop out. So what is your point?A degree does not automatically mean you are smart or intelligent. There are many successful business people without degrees. Many of them were high school drop outs.

So you think Rich Iott is smart enought to be elected without a college degree. Huh. Society always told me i would need a college degree for a good paying job. Is this not true?

nationalization of health care and favorable vote for cap and trade, both of which i consier more harmful than all of the "good" votes over the years

I think Marcy has represented me over the years. Rich has some serious damage to overcome. He couldn't persuade Spartan Foods to listen to him, how can he negotiate with 434 other reps.

iott has a lot of private sector experience. I believe he would be the best choice for distict 9's awful econony. HGis opponent Marcy Kaptur -- 28 year incumbent---has ZERO record to run on...except continual job loss including a hundred thousand lost jobs in the auto industry.Nothing to show for 28 years..niot even a committeee chairmanship. Apparently shunned in D.C.

This is the reason why Marcy Kaptur will win the election. Lots of blue collar folks live in her district, and most blue collars folks, tend to vote Democrat. Plus the fact she,s a very nice lady.

Sorry but she was for the auto bailout that saved thousands of auto jobs in this area which will be one of the many reasons she will win this election. This district is filled with union workers or retired UAW workers and UAW families.

We need younger people who understand the seriousness of our country's downward spiral and have ideas how to turn the country and economy around. Kaptur voted for obamacare which I oppose. Hard core career politicians like Kaptur get vicious and do not conduct honest and ethical campaigns.

I am a blue collar kind of guy and I am voting for Rich Iott.I will not let the unions tell me who I can or should vote for.I make my own decisions based on my life experiences. My experience has been that every time there has been a Democrat as president something bad has happened to my family financially.I will never vote for another Democrat as long as I can vote.Marcy has had her chance and has done absolutely nothing for the Toledo area.It is time for this lifetime politician to retire.Twenty eight years is enough.

Your the exception i guess of the "blue collar guy". This district is full of union men and woman who love Marcy Kaptur. Dont forget the recession started with Republican George W. Bush as president(Not a Democrat)Marcy was for a bailout that saved thousand of Toledo jobs, how is that doing nothing for Toledo?

Lots of blue collar folks are voting for Iott. And union membership as well support Iott. Many union jobs have been lost in this district, esp in the last 3 years or so. The only union members getting fat off Kaptur are the leadership....and many memebers have begun to see this. Union Leadership Fat Cats.

Also I think since this was the very first time kaptur has ever had to campaign, I've seen..she not a sweet gramma. She's mean and dirty and afraid of losing her power. This is the first time she may actually Lose and we are seeing the real Marcia Kaptur.

28 years...time to go. Lucas County is the joke in Ohio and DC.
