Public Comment Invited on Scenic River Designation Proposal
COLUMBUS -- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Watercraft invites the public to attend an open house community meeting to share information on a proposed designation of a portion of the Vermilion River as an Ohio State Scenic River.

I heard both sides of the proposal and now I am confidently against the scenic designation. It has taken property rights away from families in the past. The code of the Ohio revised code 1547.81 leaves to much ambiguity, stating the director "may acquire real property". Thank you.
