to victims aunt:

no one here claims to be "perfect", and there are losers in every family, unfortunately, the children of those losers ALWAYS pay the higher price.

NO, my children never ride in a vehicle without proper restraint, it's our job as adults to look out for our children FIRST.

driving around for years without proper training and a license was also a bad move that the family allowed to go on as well, so in many ways, the family is complicient(sp) in the risks she took.....

I'll pray for the children and believe they are in the lap of the Lord

What a shame that parents do not inforce seat belts!! Those children could be alive right now. They will have to live with this the rest of their lives!!

sorry for your loss, your niece is a self centered fool who should have never had children, she obviously lacks the basic common sense one needs to own a pet.
You should be ashamed of yourself!! You are going to pay dearly for that comment sweety!!! I pray that you never have to go through anything tragic.

I pray that no-one has to go through this tragedy that could have been avoided in so many ways, hopefully you have the intelligence to understand that.

The lady needs to be charged with so many things it's sad....
At the very least child endangerment but mostly for doing what she did that killed those children and critically injured the baby.

you should be ashamed of yourselves, what do you know about the woman and her children, the head line states "accident", your opinion does not count, but if you must voice an opinion then do it kindly and without judgement. No, she didn't have license, and that was not good, she has lost two of her children, she is suffering first and foremost, because of that, we also as a family are suffering, so reading negative things as i just did is very heart breaking.

why is it everyone who made a comment knows what was going on in the car at 230 am? Im family and I can't say if they were strapped in or not! and she is not the first or the last person to drive without a valid license, so please stop acting as if she is!!! the people are intitled to the feedback but just remember this is real life not tv. we have enough to worry about if you can't say a prayer for us please keep the comments to yourself. just know it can happen to anyone!!!

the world is all messed up things happen everyday. this was an accident!!!!!! not intentional so why are you people acting as if it was planned?? Im sure if she knew that would be the last time she would see her kids alive, she would of never taken that ride but she didn't know only GOD knew so get off her case and just make sure you don't make the same mistake and get judged as you are judging her!! she has to answer to herself for the rest of her life not to you rude people...

You people kill me with all ur comments abiut my niece!! Yes ther ar things that could've been different but she is already paying he ultimate price....losing her children!!! We all know traveling with children may be uncomfrtable foe the kid. How many times have YOU taken a long trip your child ended up taking th seat belt off? She & my family is going threw enough WITHOUT your disrespect. The media has made her life more tan a living HELL!! LIFE IN JAIL? You are the idiot Julie Kennedy for asking for such a harsh sentence. Can u all just pray for her & the family!! What if this happened to someone close to you? Don't judge...that's god JOB (DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS TAKIN APPS FOR HIS JOB)!! This is about the children at this point who can't get a proper burial!!! We can't get any positive help from the media in asking for the prper burial of my niece & nefew. We have set up THE PATRICK FAMILY MEMORIAL at Comerica Bank which the media won't air. THANKS FOR HOW RUDE U CAN BE....WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS NOT UR RUDE COMMENTS!!! THANK U & MAY GOD BLESS US ALL

Heather....How can you say "lets not jump to conclusions"? THE WOMAN DIDN'T HAVE A LICENSE. Those children shouldn't have been in the vehicle with her behind the wheel. Yet you say the woman was driving and couldn't check to see if they had their seat belts on, well if she was in the passenger seat (where she should have been) she could have checked on them consistantly. Two little children are dead, and it is because of her! That's not jumping to conclusions, USE YOUR BRAIN! She shouldn't have been driving, bottom line! She knew damn well, some people just only care about themselves, and those people should not bring other people into this world!! I hope she gets manslaughter. I couldn't live a day without my kids! My prayers are with that 5 month old, and may she never get the chance to hold his life in her hands!

I am their cousin and i just wanted to say that everyone makes mistakes. They are gone forever and the mother is having a hard time dealing with that now. For u to make such comments, is disrespectful. Very!!! Wat if you were if the situation??? U would feel the same way!!! Just keep ur comments to urself. If anything can you just pray for family!!
