After 50 some years of laborius leaf clean-up, I purchased a new 10 hp leaf blower. On my initial clean-up I discovered two brilliant ideas, pertaining to Woollybears.
1. Instead of the painstakingly slow race the poor creatures are subjected to before chrysalis, my leaf blower could be added to the "START" line and vastly improve the elapsed times of the race.
2. In these times of economic turmoil, retraining for those unfortunate unemployed (primarily Woollybears) is of the essence, and therefore, they should be given the opportunity to be tested to see if they can adapt to readily flying when they mature as a moth.
Like so many, flying is not everyone's forte.
Given my recent experiences, I found the Woollybears adapted well to the test flights.(although few could be found for results)
The only drawback to these tests is they should be performed in a sanctioned area, as my test area also is that of my rescue dog, and his droppings became a hazard to the already flying creatures in the form of deadly missles.
Please take my ideas into consideration in your future endeavors with Woollybears, as I eagerly await your reply.
