Just a note to let you know that Mr. Whittenberger is not the band director at Manchester anymore. The new band director is Brian King. Thanks!

I saw my first wooly bear today. It had no black bands, I've never seen one like that before. What does that mean???

This will be my first time attending the Woolly Bear Festival. I am bringing my 3 yr old. I am very excited. I am watching your show and Dick Goddard is an amazing and intelligent man. His memory is impeccable. He knows every High School Football team's name. In addition, he was talking about the 1st festival. He is just unreal. I absolutely love all of you. See you Sunday.

I look forward to this event every year, and have been going for many years. It's a blast. The pet contest is awesome, the parade is out of this world, and of course meeting Fox 8 personalities. Such a family friendly event, and the town of Vermilion is so beautiful and quaint. See you all Sunday!!!!

The creature on the new the other night found in South America was probably a denuded or skinned sloth. This is an animal typical of that region that is commonly about 5 feet tall

Hi there,
We arrived to see so many faces just enjoying the summer and having last minute summertime fun..food was in the air, entertainment was all around and everyone was just so friendly! This is our 2nd time attending and we are glad to come to such a small town to see big faces with a smile! Thanks Vermillion and Cleveland's Fox 8!!
Love always,

I was not impressed for my first time going. There were way too many people for me. And what happened with the parade. It started late then there were firetrucks then nothing for quite awhile. I heard that it was like that last year as well. They need to get that coordinated better so it runs smooth and constant. Then the booth selling the blue shirts didn't have anything smaller than a 8-10 for kids and nothing bigger than an x-large. Enough conplaining.
At least we had great weather. If we are blessed with a great day next year maybe we will try again.

There are train tracks that run through the middle of town. A train came during the parade and stoped the whole thing. I told the people around us that it was just intermission. I don't think Dick Goddard has it in his power to stop the trains!

I enjoy the Woolybear Festival, it's just a great day to enjoy with family and friends. However, I've wondered too, what causes there to be such great lags in the parade procession? I thought maybe the one car may have had to stop and get gas along the route !!!!:) I've been going for many years, andI'll be back next year. It's a blast.

A Mom you are too funny. I have severe arthritis in my back and sitting on the ground waiting was too much for me. Next year I will bring a chair and a pillow. LOL
