YES go inside & see for yourself and when the kids are taking there trays back see how much food they throw away! I think if a child is not getting enough to eat it is because they don't want/like to eat what is on their tray. Kids eat all the time & the state requires (in child care) them to have a snack in the afternoon so if your child is hungry after school they need a small healthy snack before supper that is not part of the schools deal. Call and ask what the amounts are per serving & any cook should be able to tell you. A lot of the kids get more to eat at school then they do at home (but then the state takes away S.N.A.P. from the parent when it is the kids that are hurting from it) YES they get plenty!

It is around $2.50 for lunch. How the hell is that "way too much"? How much do you think it should cost???? School lunch is too expensive, but I'll bet you would pay that for cigarettes, without bitching.(I know, I know, none of you smoke)
