To the supervisors operating the subsea rover: It's sometimes the simplist things that solve BOP problems. I once had to close off some shear rams as I'm sure you are. We finally got the rams to activate properly by cycling the rams out instead of always trying it to make it close. Something inside the ram was jammed (possibly one side ram out of sync with the other ram) keeping it from activating and shearing properly. The open cyclying enable the shear rams to finally work properly and shut off the flow. Just a thougth...
