School vouchers have many benefits, not only for the students, but also for the schools. School vouchers take the money intended for education and gives it to the families of the children, rather than the school districts. The families can then choose which school they want to have their child in, whether public or private, and give that school the money they would use for funding.

One benefit of school voucher programs is that parents can make sure their students are getting the best possible education. Regardless of their income level, if the public schools in their district are not meeting their childís needs, they can change schools. Also, children and parents of certain religious beliefs can seek an education that is in line with their beliefs.

School vouchers benefit schools in the long run as well. They force the schools to hire qualified faculty and provide excellent education in order to receive funding. If schools want money, they will have to perform up to par. But if the school is doing an excellent job, it will be rewarded by income and more students.

One of the best benefits of school vouchers is that it puts the choice for the childís education back in the hands of the parents, where it belongs. It is the parentís responsibility to see that their children are education, and vouchers allow them to make the best possible choices for their children.

Some will argue that with school vouchers, poor schools will end up closing. This is not really a problem, though, because if America continues to fund schools that are not teaching their students, then the students just continue to suffer. Would it not be better for these schools to close and the students that go to them to be given the choice to go to a better quality school? School voucher programs would allow this to happen.

Taxpayers pay for PUBLIC schools, as has always been the American tradition; anyone who wants to send their brats to private school can pay fir it!

We have the greatest higher education system in the world because we have competition with state related public flagships, state system, and private colleges and universities.

Let the market prevail not PSEA protection of failing schools!

Well, fool, are you talking about the public schools K-12, or higher education at the post secondary school level? Two different things, actually, for the PSEA doesn't operate in the latter... and if you think the competition between Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and all the other private schools and PA's SSHE and other state colleges & universities is what drives the success of the great peivate universities, you're ignorance is stupefying!
