In his defence, I heard him on the radio last week. He says, that reservation call is very important to the hospitality business. You need to make a connection with the customer to secure the booking. He felt it would be easier on the customers. If they can at least pronounce the name
of the person on the other end of the line. He really wanted the names not to have such a heavy Spanish accent in them, not aspecially a name change.One of his workers came on, and he was laughing about it. Said he didn't care if he answers the phonas Martin instead of Martine Me thinks the media made more out of this than it really was.

Could be. Lets's say my first name is Robert and I was working for a Mexican,or ANY other Spanish speaking employer who told me I was now "Roberto"...I'd be fired and later jailed for assault and it's that simple!
