Nona Beckman needs to get her facts straight. Fayette County Circuit Clerk's office has Judici which has on-line court records for the County, which was implemented April 2008. The office does not have E-pay which is for traffic violations ONLY which is collected on-line which goes to the State Treasurer first then returned to the Circuit clerk for distribution. The Circuit Clerk's office keeps the money for ALL fines in the county for distribution to the entities at the end of each month. There are currently only 30 of 102 counties in the State of Illinois that opt to offer e-pay services for traffic violations. The Clerk's office does have a credit card service available for ALL fines to be paid with an 8% fee retained by the card company. Anyone can go to the Clerk's office and check their efficient technology which was Nona Beckman's big issue in her campaign.
