According to the Pulitzer Prize-winning Sun Herald's website, the Jackson County Board of Supervisors voted this morning to put the issue of a Choctaw casino on the November ballot for voters to decide.

Personally, I'm tired of listening to all of the blabber mouths out there who assume that they're speaking for me when they say they don't want casino gambling in Jackson County. That's why I'm going to vote for it.

Mr. Roullette Chip... I mean Chip Roullette, does your sheep's clothing come with a zipper in the front or the back? You're not fooling me with that remark about blabber mouths speaking on your behalf. I doubt you're even from OS. If you're so tired of it, get involved..show up to a meeting when one is held and speak for yourself. As for voting for it, you've made a comment elsewhere on this site that the vote doesn't even matter- so which is it?

Well, your ID is OS_LOCALZ ONLY, but under your ID it says you're from Gulfport. So which is it? You already have a casino in Gulfport, so your opinion hardly needed or relevant when it comes to Jackson County.

As for any doubts you may have about my being from Ocean Springs, rest assured I am.

The referendum is non-binding. In case you don't have your Webster's Dictionary in front of you, that means it doesn't hold any water. The Choctaws do not have to abide by the referendum results.

I simply stated that I would vote to allow a casino in Jackson County, because I don't like it when people assume that they're speaking for me.

I'm not from Gulfport. I can't help how this IP directory thing decides to list a posting. I'm an OS local. Yes, I live here, so let it be noted my comments are relevant to Jackson County. BTW, I wouldn't look up anything to do w/the government process or a legal definition in Webster's. Black's Law Dictionary is the reference most people who deal in legal issues use, now you can too.

Do most people who deal in legal issues spell locals with a "z" instead of an "s?"

Hey, seems like OS local fruitcake has a peach impetiment with whipped cream on top. What a friggin' idiot!!! Referendum just means a proposal of a public measure. I hope to see a casino being built a mile or two from some of my investments. It would be a good thing in so many ways for the city and county. All you "blabber mouthed" tree huggin religious fascists might actually enjoy some time at a resort if it wasn't an evil thing to get off your butt and leave the house to something other than go to church.
